For those of you who didnt know this is the reason for the new steaktacular emblem. More or less how it came about being an emblem in todays halo. Just a little info for those that dont know.
I say this all the time in Arena match making. You have to have more then 20 kills then they do in a slayer match and win by points. In a general sense, the end score had to be 50-30

I remember in Halo 2, there was a theory that your team would gain more points toward the next rank if you keep the other team under 25 kills in a slayer match. I don’t think it was true, but that was the start of the steaktacular for me!

Oh man i didn’t know that it was that early. I remember it from halo 3 but not 2 that’s crazy.

Omg I remember this! I went into a random game with randoms and I was matched against one of their teams! We beat them and I think I got a medal for it on my reach service record!
Never got the steak but I will have that emblem!

in halo reach it was defeat anyone as long as your score as 60% more than theirs

Well… Crap… Looks like I didn’t beat a bungie team then, I never knew what the GTs where so I thought you got the steaktacular medal for beating them! Well it was nice thinking I beat them!
