Staying Alive Practise

Vertikull here,

Hey everyone. I’m pretty sure you have all heard is that one way, you if you want to contribute to your team, you should stay alive. But how do you practise staying alive?

Here is a good way that you might not have heard of.

You know how long it takes to set up a match? Between 2 and 3 minutes probably. :sunglasses:

Set up a match with a friend but set it to a one kill to win. No one will be satisfied with that game because if you play normally, you will get slaughtered. You will have to play mindblowingly conservative.

This is one way that can help you to stay alive.

Tell me if this helps.

Was that necessary? He gets his point across.

As for the post:

I think that’s a great idea for other players who might not be as skilled as others.

Unfortunately, that is usually the case on the Internet. Probably for the fact that we see words at face value and nothing more.

No hate man. I got the sarcasm.

I guess at least one possible strat is that if you’re struggling in the first half of the match, you go defensive and start hiding/camping in the second half, so you cut down on your deaths for the team…

… never works for me of course, they always find me. LOL :stuck_out_tongue: But theoretically it might work for someone.

I was gifted with an ability to learn and to adapt to my enemy. The best way to stay alive for me at least, is to keep your enemy on their toes. What I mean by this is, don’t do anything that would be considered normal. When you strafe, sometimes you can crouch once or twice to throw them off. Use your thruster to run away. Plop a grenade behind a corner when you’re on the run. Anything to make them second guess themselves.
