Kill enemy Spartans attacking a Friendly Zone in PvP. What is the best way to complete this challenge?
Get in Strongholds. Camp Zone Charlie on Live Fire.
If you can get in a BTB game, the Total Control gametype is fantastic as it lasts ages if no one steamrolls and you just watch o the outside of a point and kill whoever moves in.

Does anyone know the exact conditions that must be met to progress this challenge? The wording is kind of vague and it’s not clear exactly what the game wants.
Like, do I need to be inside the zone when I kill an enemy on the outside? Do they have to be within a certain distance of the zone or can I snipe someone on the other side of the map? Or do we both have to be inside the zone? Or do I need to be on the outside while the enemy is inside actively trying to convert it?

I believe they have to be inside 1 of your zones.

Just kill an enemy player who is inside and actively contesting or capturing your point. Not a neutral point like when new points arrive. This can be done with a sniper, rocket, sword, etc.
I’m not entirely sure because I finished this challenge after a single game of Strongholds. I just played as I normally do and completed it.
My advice, just play the objective and you should be fine. Defend and secure friendly zones.
Strongholds is the easiest to achieve this cos you won’t be outgunned most of the time.
Just hold a point with AR and spray the dude walking up to cap it. Bonus points if you have a power weapon.
THE ENEMY MUST WALK INTO THE ZONE YOU CONTROL or the kill won’t count. Goodluck.
