Status of S-IIs, total #

Even though Glasslands states that half of the S-IIs survived augmentation, this is completely wrong.

A total of 57 Spartan-IIs survived the augmentations.

Here are all the unidentified S-IIs.
2 committed suicide.
3 Spartans died when they jumped out of the Pelican during the Fall of Reach.
3 Spartans of Delta Red are possibly MIA, but most likely KIA during Reach.
11 Spartans of Delta Red are most likely KIA during Reach.
1 unidentified died during Harvest (most likely Daisy-023)

Here are all the “official” MIA Spartans, and Spartans with unknown statuses.
MIA:
Jai-006
Randall-037
Douglas-042
Jorge-052 (while declared KIA, hints suggest that the Corvette he was in went somewhere.)
Mike

Unknown:
Keiichi-047
Carris-137
Joseph-122

(These Spartans are last seen alive in 2552, it is unknown if they are alive by 2553)
Victor-101
Black-One
Black-Two
Black-Three
Maria-062

Here are all Spartans that are confirmed alive by 2553.
Naomi-010
Linda-058
Kelly-087
Fred-104
John-117

All other Spartan-IIs that are not listed were confirmed KIA during the Human-Covenant war.

Spartans that apart of groups such as Omega Team will not be counted as unknown Spartans.

So far, 57 Spartans seemed to have survive the augmentations. It is possible that some of them were crippled in some way but only needed little treatment.

7 Spartans were crippled. 1 of which was rehabilitated.

So that means that a total of 11 Spartans died from the augmentations.

what about the Halo wars Spartans ?

they’re on that list

I don’t see Kurt on that list.

> they’re on that list

They’re not. You’re missing Alice-130 and Jerome-092. Also, you’re missing Adriana-111. Those three belong on the MIA list.

Also, you listed Delta twice. It was eleven S-IIs from Beta-Red.

Ralph-303 and Cal 141 survived augmentation. So did Solomon 069 and Arthur 079. I think it’s important to note that FoR messed up the numbers of Spartans a couple of times and since then it hasn’t been resolved properly.

Edit: my bad, read the point of the list wrong. Disregard the 4 spartans I mentioned. FoR part still stands though.

I will be sorely disappointed if John doesn’t meet up with some of the remaining Spartans by the end of this new trilogy. I’m just afraid they won’t because so many people would have no idea who they are, it’d be hard to incorporate without some people being like “WTF?” But I feel like they may be keeping Blue Team alive for a reason.

But imagine the chills that would go down your spine when in the last cinematic of Halo 4, Chief looks done for, then Kelly, Fred, and Linda sweep in from nowhere to save him. How would that be for a cliffhanger into Halo 5?

Edit: The more I think about it, the more hopeful I become. If they’re trying to develop “character” in this trilogy, some exchanged dialogue between Chief and his lifelong friends would for sure be the way to go.
