Stats, Damned Stats, and Waypoint

I do like stats. They let me see how we’ll I am doing and where I need to spend more time training.

Well, usually that is.

Waypoint is really -Yoink!- confusing to say the least. My most used weapon apparently is the DMR yet I have more kills with the AR. I can’t tell you how much more kills though because unlike other stats websites, Wapoint keeps resetting kill counts for each rank. Then it doesn’t tell you what the current running total is.

So while there are stats there THEY DON’T TELL YOU SQUAT.

All I want is to see how many kills I have with each weapon, how accurate I am with each weapon (ie how many rounds fired, hit and missed) and that is it. To find out just my weapon kills I have to work out what level I am on, whether the weapon is a 5 rank or 7 rank, how many kills are allocated to each rank then work out the accumulated total… JUST TO FIND OUT HOW MANY SODDING KILLS I HAVE MADE.

Somehow I seem to remember Halo 3 stats being a lot clearer.

it still says slayer is my most played playlist even so i have over 100 more dominion games. it is also saying i’ve gotten 500 more br kills than i actually have.

i use halotracker to see my stats. it is much clearer and has leader boards.

This will take time. Be patient, and all of the issues will be fixed.

Thanks Coconut x. Just registered on Halotracker and then went to weapons stats and… NOTHING!

I swear I am just going to have to work out the stats manually.

and Mothrogdal… it should have been completely ready way before launch day. It is like buying a car and having the bonnet missing, only firing on half the cylinders and no glass in the windows and then saying “Be patient, and all the issues will be fixed”.

We pay for finished products. Not half finished crap that isn’t even finished being designed right, let alone coded, tested and rolled out.

Now that said, bugs happen and a certain number of bugs will be there even in top range software. The number of bugs/glitches in Halo 4 is kind of… high… though.

go to your halo 4 page on halo tracker, then click on the settings tab. check both the boxes so it will track your medals and weapons. if you don’t ask them to track your stats they won’t. hope this helps

you also have to pay for the service otherwise your stats will be hilariously inaccurate.

Cant find the settings tab… I must be blind… lol.

if you are serious. look next to the weapons tab.

Found it finally. Site wasn’t logged in right. For some reason the password I set didn’t take. Had to get a new one sent to reset the system. I think it was because I used my iPad to register.

Cheers. Thought I was going bonkers for a second.

AND YAY… I HAVE WEAPON STATS!

My top three weapons are:-

Assault Rifle - 705 Kills
Plasma Grenade - 457 Kills
DMR - 360 Kills

Oh and one I am proud of…

Boltshot - 5 Kills.

I do like my AR though.

Are you saying that 343’s in-house statistical pages don’t give you the correct data, but a third-party website that doesn’t even have the luxury of an API anymore provided you the data you wanted?

That’s actually pretty accurate. 343 has the stats for each game mode but they don’t sum them up. HTR displays stats for each mode and totals on 1 page. Its a lot more convienient. Waypoint shows kills and deaths for each weapon, HTR only shows kills.
