I don’t know if this has been said before, but I think it’s a good idea.
I know online people talk about stats like KD and all that. But something people don’t seem to realise is KD only matters in a gametype where getting kills is the objective, aka slayer. People tell me all the time “lol you have a terrible KD, it’s not even positive” and it’s mainly because I don’t play alot of slayer. I tend to play objective based games: Team objective, Grifball, Action sack, Invasion, etc. And I will die repeatitively while capturing an objective. Although I die alot in these gametypes, I tend to outscore other people by objective points, and my team tends to win because we are actually trying to get the objective rather than get kills. However, this would split stats by gametype and would show your true skill, and how you play much better than it did before. It would show whether you were more likely to rush an objective to win the game(like I do), whether you sit back and get kills, or whether you take the mid range and assist the objective while getting kills, by the way your stats are represented.Thoughts?
