I’m enjoying the game, but forge is such a hype train. Hope it is here soon.
I’m not a forger but I have a map idea I want to work on.

It’ll probably be Monday at the last minute. Just like with this recent update, Unyshek said they would have an update out “by the end of the day.” It was by the end of the day, but cutting it pretty close. (seems to be a common theme now that I think about it)
I’m a bit apprehensive to see what they do to forge now… I mean look at BTB. If this second attempt of fixing it doesn’t work, I most definitely dont want to see them screw up and “try” to fix Forge.

Lol the head of halo 5 said halo 6 would have co-op at launch, 343 promises are not tangible, just in a couple more months, or the new “it’s coming with season 2” list that’s growing and will never deliver

Give it a couple months and itll be “it’s been delayed to Season 3,” or “wait till Season 3.”

I’d probably wait last minute too, worst thing you can do is post an update, and then some jack-Yoink!- pops in and says “hey, got something else to toss into the update, we made some headway on (x)!”
I mean, I don’t know how their meetings work for making update posts, but I definitely would want to have everything we’re supposed to talk about released at the same time instead of editing it cause someone waited.

But at lest we will be able to screw around with Forge!

Forge is NOT useless without a Customs Browser.
Unless you have no friends.
You know what Customs Browsers are good for?

…and lastly, let me remind you of this little feature called BOTS.
I can forge maps, and play them with 2 friends and 5 bots… or by myself with 11 bots.

It is intellectually dishonest to say that the BTB fiasco (really small dev team, probably took a week or two) is any indication of what will happen with Forge or Co-op or really anything going forward.
This would be like saying that 343i can’t add in Grifball because they made cat ears or something, its a huge stretch.

If the rumors are true they’re going to be focusing more on some type of battle royale or warzone styled gamemode before they do anything else major.
I’m thinking something either on Monday or Tuesday (technically Feb 1st), which seems pretty consistent with when they make announcements/updates.
Not useless but it’ll definitely help bolster the forge community if there was a custom games browser for sure.

Anybody can set the number of players in Forge That’s no big deal!
I have never been able to get more than 4 bots on each team max in a CTF game, or Stronghold map or in a slayer map in Halo Infinite! Wish I could get at least 8 bots on each team!

Like I said it would be nice to screw around with forge! That’s It! IMHO it is useless unless we have a custom game browser. So you have a few friends to check out your maps that’s cool. But it does not allow you to publicly show your maps that you have created. That is why I said Forge is useless unless we have a custom game browser. That’s all

BR would make the game as bad as any other game. You want to get some decent customization system. Ok well let’s see here, anything decent will cost at least 12 bucks. A special weapon will cost another 5 oh but the games free don’t worry about it. This game is already in shambles and you’re telling me that they’re gonna start on a new game mode they have never done before with a smaller weapon sandbox then the previous game. Ya, you tell me when they’re gonna make a BR

The pessimist in me says it will never come and its another lie.
The Optimist in me says they are waiting until after the show drops its trailer today.
Bots are gonna open up so many possibilities for game types. Especially ones like duck hunt or zombies where theres sides people just prefer to play.
