So, i haven’t been on the forums much and frankly i have played the game much, (rank 28) but what is the “communities” opinion on the state of the game? i tried to give it a go again today and frankly i just find it absolutely abysmal, it plays NOTHING like halo, and while i did NOT like halo 4 for the codification of it, i find that their is Very little difference between the way the game plays and say for example call of duty future warfare, (or black ops 3 if you would) outside the obvious vehicles of course.
my list of problems that i feel STILL persist even after all these years.
- kill time are still FAST AS HELL, i mean hell that was one thing that set the halo experience OUT from the other games of the genre, was it’s slow down time to kill that would allow a player to seek cover, now it’s BASICALLY instant kill with nearly ALL weapons at nearly ALL ranges, hell i picked up a carbine and 1.6 seconds after engaging a FULL health player and being the sole aggresser at REALLY long range, he is dead, he doesn’t even really get a chance to LOOK at who is attacking him, same goes for dying, first comes the your being hit notification and then DEAD in under 1.5 seconds EVERY SINGLE TIME. the longer time to kill made POWER WEAPONS and VEHICLES more important in the game, with such a fast time to kill the game just plays POORLY, i mean like REALLY crappy. furthermore with such a time to kill focus firing results in INSTANT INESCAPABLE DEATH, and it doesn’t even take a full team or a sqaud of three or anything like that, 2 people shooting at you means YOU DIE every single time.
you know what i was gonna go into a list, but screw it, judging by the existing post and the LACK of new comments/post, and the visibility of so many common people i’m gonna chalk this community up to being a echo chamber for just a FEW players.
