First game since the last event, I came in second.
I just want the BR Coating and I’m out.
Challenges are easy thought, at least for me. Just do the 4 easiest ones for the helmet then dip out. Just hope they actually registrer this time…

New armor that’s not appealing to earn but oh boy they’ve got some new fancy stuff in the shop shop for $20 inflating dollas!!!
I just played a game and as it was going I said to myself, “Why are you playing this terrible game?”
Then the answer came to my mind, “Oh yeah because Halo MCC is dead and it take 45 minutes to find a match”.
Ugh! It is time to hang up the Halo hat. I’m heading over to play some Ninja Gaiden 2 via Game Pass.
You still unlock two tiers with every challenge in LSS?

After LSS my battle pass wasn’t going up even well after the match ended if I left instead of spectating, it finally caught up about 15 minutes after. Regardless I hate having LSS challenges take up space.
i know, i know. Just like last time they are not registering. Figures after two months they could have fixed that, guess not lmao this is sad.

I didn’t even realize, you said 1/3 looks like it… Because of “Complicated mouth piece and small visors”??
If that’s all it takes for helmets to look “similar” then Mark VII, Zvezda, Rampart, Air Assault, Aviator, Brawler and ISR all look similar because they have big visors.
Garbage? I think the Morrigan helmet looks pretty good, actually. But I don’t think it’ll be replacing the GRD for me. My only problem with this event is having to play LSS since I hate FFA. The actual pass itself is very good. Lots of armor pieces and two skins. No backdrops or weapon charms. I’d like future events to look more like this, personally.
The Event Rewards were pretty meh, and having the Event Challenges double your rewards and Tactical Clippy being the Weekly Reward means that as soon as I completed enough of the Event Challenges to get all the Alpha Pack Rewards, I stopped playing.
I actually like LSS and wish that we would get general FFA Challenges like before instead of Rumble Pit-only Challenges. Having half of my Event Challenges being melee-oriented though (regular melee kills and backslaps) made it annoying though and another contributing factor to just stop playing as soon as I received all the rewards.
However, the “narratives” behind these season events are downright atrocious.
Lone Wolves Event:
“Here’s a Banished AI eating the brain of a Spartan IV, so go get good in multiplayer”
“Good job, here’s your Banished AI and we explore nothing else about it.”
Alpha:
“You got gud with the Banished AI, but now you need to get gud with us by playing more multiplayer!”
“You got gud.”
I got everything easily and instantly, I wonder why it’s causing you issues
