Starting Spawns

So, you know how Bungie had that vidoc (or whatever it was) explaining exactly how their spawning system worked? And how you only need more than one starting spawn if you want people to spawn in ‘squads’ separate from each other, otherwise just use one starting spawn and normal spawn points (as the first person to spawn will be on the starting spawn, everyone else will spawn to the closest spawn points to said person, due to how the spawning system works)?

It was a noobish thing to do, submitting a forge map to any forging community and having multiple starting spawns in one location. It got made fun of. Then the last map pack for Reach came out. 343 did the spawns. There are groups of 10-15 starting spawns in one place. I facepalmed hard. Then I saw H4…

How the hell can you people, given all of the source material and information on how the game is run by Bungie, not even be able to do something so EXPLICITLY explained to you? It’s bad enough that you couldn’t ever figure out Megalo scripting (ooooh, you can make a bomb re-spawn instantly so if it drops it goes back to the spawn, which you placed on a ball using the forge mode. Pathetic).

This game just looks so badly done compared to the extents Bungie would work on their games. I have no higher hopes for Halo 5, because instead of gaining experience by working on H4 and being able to do better next time…you outsourced practically the entire game to other companies to make the game FOR you. That’s -Yoink!- for you though.
