over the past few ranked games ive played today, ive loaded in with only 2 other teammates twice now. Not loaded in and had a leaver. the game was formed 3v4. and now ive lost over half a tier for it… Anyone else getting this issue or know why its happening?

It’s most likely a crash or server interrupt of some kind kicking players prior to the match connecting or worst case scenario players are quitting the game during the matchmaking sequence and the game doesn’t recognize this.
This has been a persistent problem primarily due to the fact the game doesn’t allow players to rejoin dropped matches. They’re losing rank too, and can’t do anything about it if this is the case.
The best advice I can offer is play ranked with friends to reduce the chances of random players disconnecting. It’s not a 100% fix as issues can still occur, but it reduces the dependency on randoms.
Call attention to the issue in a constructive way because I’ve played with players this has happened to and it sucks, also this:
is not going to get the issue resolved for anyone and will only bury a legitimate issue (and probably the biggest issue in the game currently) deeper under less pressing topics.
Keep it civil and constructive and hopefully this’ll get resolved. Trust me man, I know it sucks to find yourself in situations like these.
Games have issues man, it is how the industry is sadly…
343 has been good at updating and fixing their games though, so I wouldn’t be too worried about this long term.
