so after the 5th game in a row of spawning into losing teams and missing players i got alittle tired of it. i understand social games are fun and teams lose players but i think a cap on the amount of games you spawn into the losing team would be nice. Id like to start and finish my own games at some point. just a suggestion that way players dont get discouraged.
I also understand the amount of quitting and farming etc… that goes on in the game and reasons for leaving but it effects players going into these games as well.
Yeah it’s annoying but it hardly ever really happens to me. Maybe 1 out of every 10 games I join is already in progress. The stupid part is when you join on a team that’s getting destroyed and then you get banned for leaving.
This is an issue for me when playing COD games, but what normally irks me is when I’m put into a game that’s in progress, where both teams need only around 10 kills before winning. I think it’s kinda stupid but hey, if COD can’t do it then I highly doubt Halo can.
An option to only search for fresh and new games would be nice.
This is the result of people complaining and wanting to play real quick and get into a game.
What I think should happen, shouldn’t join you in after 10 kills
Utilizing RP or XP boosts keeps me in a game because I get rewarded win or lose. Also your individual achievements do get rewarded as well, win or lose. HOWEVER: I find myself in games where A: Already in progress, B: Opposite team CRUSHINGLY better than mine, C: I don’t have the skill to make a difference and/or D: My team is down members. Mix and match the letters, this always is the case. Especially troubling is when any of these happen in Ranked. I only have played a few and in EVERY game so far, my team appears not to know what FF is and will charge into the fray, tripping on an ally grenade and allowing a free point to the enemy. The lack of autobalance should anyone bail out is disheartening, too. Last match the entire enemy team left except one guy. I actually felt bad. Kinda wished I could change teams, make it fair. But those reasons are also why my gambits just gather dust. It’s more or less taking one step forward to take two steps back, and don’t even get me started on how the game handles latency and lag.
I’ve been saying for years that players need to have the option to opt out of JIP games. Hopefully future games will introduce this option

Happens very rarely to me. In fact it only happens in quickplay and warzone. I actually think its pretty fun. It did it to me a whole lot in Halo 4 and I was always on the losing team. I made sure that I would make our team win, and most of the time we did. So, I try to do the same thing in Halo 5. They match you with the losing team because they expect you to help them win.

Nah, they match you with the losing team because 99.5% of the time, if someone’s gonna quit, it’s gonna be from the losing team, so that’s the slot that’s open when JIP happens. I automatically assume now when I JIP that it’ll be on the losing team. I’m genuinely shocked when I join the team that’s in the lead. In those cases, I assume a player must have DC’d or something to that effect, not actually quit. Because who quits while on the winning team, right?

I feel like if that option existed, pretty much everyone would opt of of JIP.
Everyone wants someone to join their team if they are down a player - no one wants to be the person joining said team.
(Generally)

If everyone opts out of JIP, then it just proves that nobody wanted to be a part of it in the first place so I don’t see an issue there.
It sucks when half your team quits, but that’s no reason to spread the suffering to other players who would just be thrown in a losing situation. I would rather just accept the loss and move onto the next match knowing that it will be a fair start and not halfway over
I think if you don’t back out of the postgame search lobby, you won’t get a lot of JIP games.

Yeah, I strongly agree with what Cre8ti0nThe0ry said/suggested.

Actually I’ve met 2 players who quit while winning because they felt bad for the enemy team. Now that’s kind hearted.

Yeah, I’m always on a team with AFK’s level 1’s or worse
Pretty sure you wouldn’t find any games with the idea you are suggesting…At this point of the game you either have to accept that without a team it’s going to be rough or you try to find somebody to play with. After all with a team it’s impossible to jip.
There is no better teacher than defeat… -Master Yoda. Man I’ve been waiting to use that quote on someone. LOL
It hardly ever happens…and I enjoy the challenge of turning the tide.
