Starting Another New Game, What Resets?

Hi All

I completed game on normal after release and im in two minds trying to decide to start a new game now on legendary or wait till they add mission select/replay options (343 confirmed its coming but no date given) if you start a new game what carries over?! Do you have to collect all the spartan cores again and audio logs and do all the fob bases again etc? I literally just want to blast through the story again… however it will be extremely difficult without searching open world and collecting spartan cores to upgrade equipment…

The only things that carries over are audio logs, opened armor lockers, and skulls. Things that you will need to do again are spartan cores, FOBs, optional outposts, high value targets, and rescue marines.

All colectables are saved but everything like spartan cores and FOBs and all that are reset
