Starting a new team (up to 11)

Hey, I’m looking for a team to play Halo Reach with and also to carry over in to playing Halo 4. The max amount of people I want is 11 (plus me makes 12) and the idea is that it won’t matter who is on, as long as there are 4 of us we will be able to play well together.

Before I select people, I’ll need you to write about your experience with the game and the series as a whole. Don’t worry about that though, I’m going to give you an example so you can use that as a template and also see whether you think we’d be compatible.

Player experience:

Halo 2 – HS 30 in Team Snipers
http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStatsHalo2.aspx?gameid=518368175&player=Burninhell647

I remember being higher than this but there was a lot of cheating on H2. I had strings of games where the enemy team would spawn us in the air and kill us with automatic sniper rifles. The funny thing is that although this is my lowest HS I feel as though I was much better at sniping on H2 than any other game but this may be due to the fact that ranking up was harder.

Halo 3 – HS 50 in Team Snipers with 934exp in that playlist
http://www.bungie.net/stats/halo3/rankhistory.aspx?player=burninhell647

When I finally got my 50 it was in 2010, 2 and a half years after the game had been out, and I was searching as a random with about 500-600exp already in that playlist. I had a run of games where I was beasting it and I felt like a God. This ended though on my 50 game where I got carried. Trollollol.

Halo Reach – HS 8% Onyx Season 8

This was the only season where I’ve played single digit but it was the only season where I didn’t spend the majority of my games searching as a random. It’s been said that this season was the easiest but I played with and against some very good players, over and over again.

I’m not sure how to show further back than the previous season, so here’s a link to a video of a single digit game: http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/FileDetails.aspx?fid=23423745&player=Burninhell647

[If you have any, preferably full, videos you can provide to show the way you play that would be appreciated]

Player type:

Sniper
Support

As you can see from the experience selection, I’ve been sniping since Halo 2 and I’m still whooping -Yoink- and enjoying it. In Reach I’ve had no ranked playlist to destroy but I’ve taken my skills in to the Arena.

When I pick up the Sniper, I either get lots of headshots or lots of assists from body shots. If I don’t get the Sniper, I try to hold the advantageous positions with my team and help out as much as I can. I like to push up and spawn kill when the other team isn’t being aggressive enough and I think I’m working well with my team.

Player knowledge:

Map advantages & voting
Weapon locations/timers
Team & enemy spawns
Callouts

I choose a map depending on what colour I am and whether or not I’ll have an advantage. Once I’m in a game, I have a set route and action I take because I know where both teams spawn at the beginning. I’ll normally try to grenade the path to a power weapon in order for our team to capture it and I’ll be calling out all the one shots from the get go.

So, that’s me. If you want to be teammates just fill this in:

Player experience
Player type
Player knowledge

And provide links and videos if you can.

Here’s the list of players on the team:

  1. Loscocco
  2. JusT so Tiny
  3. lll Ryoku lll
  4. bleeding flag
  5. Limited Luck

Just as a note, if I’ve accepted you on the team and there are still spaces left, feel free to say who you like the sound of as it’s really important we all like each other and bond.

EDIT: There seems to be some formatting issues as I wrote this up in a word document. If you’re having any problems with links, tell me and I’ll send you a pm.

Player experience: I consider myself pretty experienced, but I want to get better. I spend most of my time searching alone and normally carry my randoms in playlists like BTB. I would love to go into MLG and better myself, but I just don’t see the point of playing without being able to confidently rely on competent teammates.

I didn’t play much non-LAN Halo 2, so the only thing I have there is like a 20 I got from deciding to play the game for an hour or two.
In Halo 3, I had 3 45s (Lone Wolves, Doubles, TS) from searching randoms. I didn’t really try with that ranking system and I didn’t understand how it worked until I had like a 40 and a ton of EXP so I thought that it was a waste of my energy to try. I’m pretty confident that I could get a 50 now, I just barely played the main ranked playlists after I started getting better at the game.

I don’t have too much gameplay because I hardly record games because I feel that watching me snipe for 20mins is pretty boring, even if I pull off some good quick-scopes/no-scopes because saving JUST the good snipes is too common and boring for people to watch. All I really have in terms of footage of full games where I do well is when I played some extreme derps in BTB and went 57-0 and played the objective ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Xq24J6jelQ ) and then I just have some small clips (like when I got a quick-scope headshot around a corner: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hr8r9KDKAs).

Player type: When I’m not sniping, I normally play pretty aggressive with precision weapons like the DMR.

Player knowledge:

Spawn system
Weapons
Maps & voting
Callouts
Tactical-Jumps (in games that aren’t plagued by jetpacks)
Common tactics that mess up the enemy (things that commonly screw with people’s mind: from simple things like Ghandi Hopping and ninjas, to more complex things like unexpected map placement)

Basically, I’m a competitive player stuck in a non-competitive atmosphere. I have a VERY small handfull of friends that play the game competitively and I’m looking to better myself. I spend most of my time playing with randoms against full parties, doing fine, but getting held back by my crappy teammates and want people to rely on before I have the same bad experiences in playlists where relying on others is crucial. Most people say that you need to actively play with people that are better to actually get better and I feel like I am missing that and have been stuck at the same level of skill forever.

Welcome to the team.

Player experience:
I have played a whole lot of Halo over the past 10 months. I got to the rank of Mythic (almost Noble) within that time, with a sturdy 1.29 K/D. I have played multiple MLG games and even participated in a MLG tournament.

My Halo 2 skill is relitivly low, since I on;y got it last month. I haven’t played any multiplayer because of the unpopularity of it, but I have played through the campaign.

Halo 3 was my first Halo game. Obviously, I started out crappy. However, as time went on, I slowly got better and better to get me a 22 skill in under a month. Then, I got Reach.

I was vastly better in Reach. It was a bit hard to adapt, but I soon got the hang of it. I got myself to General within the first 3 months. I started to then play MLG and I adapted to that pretty easily as well.
Player type: I normally try to push in a Slayer game and defend in a Objective game. I try to get close-quarters weapons like the Sword and Shotgun. I also like to get the Sniper and snipe people like this: http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/FileDetails.aspx?fid=27032252&player=Invisible%20Bread. I play Grifball in my spare time.

Player knowledge:

Spawn system
Weapons
Maps & voting
Callouts
Tactical-Jumps
Common tactics that mess up the enemy

I’m a competitive player who wishes to not be teamed up with crappy randoms against full party Inheritors. I have a few friends that like MLG, but I’m normally in a game when they’re inviting people, and then they are playing when I finish that game. So I feel like I need to have a good, sustainable team to play with.

Player experience: Got Halo 2 in 2005 (first Halo game) and got Xbox live in 2006. Obviously I was new and didn’t get a 3 K/D but here’s a linky http://www.bungie.net/stats/playerstatshalo2.aspx?player=just so tiny. Halo 3 is where I became really good at Halo and I play very well with a team with mics. I pretty much know the games inside and out. My only draw back is that I quit Reach in 2010 because of disapointment and have recently come back. Holding above 2 K/D in Reach and something of 1.3K/D in arena (top 55% onyx arena season 11). I’m not too sure about W/L as I’ve mostly been playing with randoms so I guess it’s in the range of 70%-80%. I can do anything besides using sniper and the grenade launcher (in Halo 3 with my role within the team was to get the non-skill power weapons so I never got to practice with sniper as much).

Halo 2: I think a 28 in Team Slayer? It’s been a while and I only played by myself with no mic at the time. I had two accounts for Halo 2 and can’t find the linky.

Halo 3: 50 lone wolves, 50 team slayer, 50 team doubles, 50 team SWAT, 50 team snipers (body shot pro), 47 or 46 in team objective, 48 in MLG, 45 squad battle, and 20-something in team throwback (I just didn’t play it that much as my team was moving onto different things).

Reach: 55% onyx season 11, I just got back into Halo starting in April 2012. Looking to improve my game. I know how weapons, bloom etc. work, I just need some pointers on a few callouts on Reach because all the maps seem to be greyish blocks. I know the callouts for the original maps like reflection, the pit, asylum, etc. maps like select and enclosed which are mostly forged I need pointers. You’ll have to stalk me on this site for my Reach stats as I started to play when Bungie stopped stat tracking.

Player knowledge:

I know everything pretty much. I just can’t snipe, grenade launcher, or get specific forge map callouts correctly.

Player type: It’s all about the win.

I have no gameplay but I know in my mind that I’m a very good player whos been around since 2005 and I need good people to play with and learn from. I’m at the peak of knowing everything about Reach but there are certain things I’d like to know.

Here’s my try hard pants account for Halo 3 and you can see that I played a bit of Reach on it as well. - http://www.bungie.net/stats/halo3/careerstats.aspx?player=tiny is a bk

EDIT: broken links. Stalk JusT so Tiny and Tiny is a BK

Sorry but you haven’t been playing long enough.

You’re on the team!

Player experience:

ive been playing halo since the original, i played a few lan games between my friends and i in h1 and h2. ive been playing multiplayer halo since h3 and i consider myself pretty decent. i love to play MLG i enjoy working as a team and using callouts to win. i see myself as a support/slayer type but i also have no problem with running objective in games too. my current k.d is 1.71 i mainly play mlg as i prefer the more competitve game style. ive realy played arena and never obtained a rank.

here is my current s.r

Player Knowledge:

map callouts
weapon and team spawns

You haven’t been playing long enough. Sorry.

Player Experience:
I have been playing halo since 2002 and i have placed 4rth in State tournaments on 3 separate occasions. For halo 1,2, and 3.

Halo 2 my best rank was 38 in Team slayer
Halo 3 47 in TS and DT, 43 in FFA
Reach, i got gold rank in one season.
(i had another account so it might not match up with this one, s7g Ryoku)

Knowledge:
Spawning, weapon placement, call outs, strategy. weapon spawn timing.

Play Style:
depends on the situation, and what the team is doing. sometimes i like to sit back and support, be aggressive and control the map and power weapons. or push the enemy out of a corner. my ideal play style is support as im usually not the best killer but i can hold my own in a 1 on 1 encounter.

Lately i have been on my own because none of my friends play halo anymore. I have been forced to play by myself and i constantly get stuck on crappy teams. thats one of the reasons why my winning percentage is 61-65% (granted thats not bad but its alot higher when i play with friends and actually have a competent team) my KD ratio is a 1.27 in standard match making and a 1.02 in arena. that 1.02 is not reflectant of my ability, its actually been much higher the last few times ive played arena.

Im really looking for some online friends to play reach with that know what there doing and work well as a team, i’m pretty laid back

thanks for the consideration and please let me know

You’ve made it. Congrats.

I’d like to ask before I apply, what are the minimum requirements? I think I’d fit the requirements but I’d just like to check and see what you’re actually looking for in a team player. Thanks.

H2 ~=~ HS 20

H3 ~=~ HS 40

H:R ~=~ 50 games played in Arena, 1 k/d, 50% WL

It’s all dependant on what you write though

I think my HS in Halo 2 was a 34, had a 46 In Halo 3 in Lone Wolves, Team Slayer, and Team Doubles. I generally play team slayer in Halo Reach, but I did get gold once in arena. My “competitive” kd is 1.5, and an overall 1.41.

I’ve been playing halo since the original, and it is by far my favorite game series. I’m pretty good, and I like to have fun playing. While I am competitive, I don’t stand much for people treating each other badly, or trying to blame each other for a loss. I like to play to win and have fun, which means good communication. I am familiar with the maps and the weapon spawns, and i’m pretty dangerous close quarters and my biggest strength would probably be my use with grenades. I’m not a great sniper, but I’m more than proficient with every other weapon in the game. Hope to play with you guys!

Played Halo since the start.

Halo 2 highest level - 32 in Team Slayer

Halo 3 highest level - 40 in Lone Wolves

Halo Reach rank - Field Marshall (K/D is approx. 1.24)

Team player and plays for fun.

Best with the DMR, Sniper, Spartan Laser and Rocket Launcher.

You’ve both made it. Well done.

May I ask…
Do you guys have practice times? If so when and what time? Im still in school and participate in sports so I might not be able to get on every single day.
