I’d like to talk about my point of view with the loudouts!
Im fine with everyone starting out with different perks of AAs.
But i do NOT like the idea of everyone getting to pick which weapon they want (except for invasion) because i believe that part of halo is going around the map looking for
weapons instead of just picking what you want at the start, plus i have the feeling that
everyone would just pick the BR and weapons like the AR would never be used.
Now i know that most of you would rather not have loudouts or perks at all, but im saying
that i wouldnt mind perks or armor abilities, BUT AS LONG AS YOU DONT GET TO PICK YOUR
WEAPON!!!
In my opinion, I think everyone starting equal with the same “perks” and “abilities” and different utility weapons than everyone haveing the same utility weapon and different abilities. Let me emphasize utility weapons. Imagine having the ability to choose between AR, BR, DMR, and Carbine. Overall, these weapons are equal (although the AR is different .for its own purposes), with only slight variations in range, fire rate, recoil, etc. But overall, they could have the same kill times. On the contrary, having different “perks” does not put everyone on equal ground because everyone can choose a different way to move around the map, or defend themselves, etc. The point is that a variation in utility weapon allows for much more balanced gameplay than a variation in the “perks or abilities”.
Same weapons, no perks. its that simple. I don’t know how people can stand to have loadouts. It wouldn’t make sense for cod to have everyone start out with 1 weapon. Same logic applies for halo. It doesn’t make sense to have people spawning with different weapons and abilities
