I’m at rank 17, & start of warzone & arena all other seem to have better variants of the MAGNUM & ASSAULT RIFLE, I have a level 8 RECON ASSLT RIFLE, which I can never use yet even at very start of game if a team mate gets killed they always have guns like DMR’S , even the other guns are all better than the guns I have to start with
Everybody has the same start weapons in Arena, and Warzone for that mater.
You have a long way to go. I don’t think I had much of anything unlocked by lvl 17 either. I’m lvl 94 right now and I still don’t have everything unlocked. Buy Silver packs. That will give you the best chances of unlocking all of the loadout weapons the fastest. Also, are you aware that getting kills/capturing bases/taking out AI increases your REQ level faster? Just a heads up.
Get more AI kills, and assists against enemies, and you should see your REQ level go up.
Also, get some bronze REQ packs. They have a lot of common loudout weapons that are useful when you first start Halo 5.
Well, everyone starts with the same weapons in Arena.Keep playing and you’ll earn better weapons/modifications for warzone. Don’t forget to use your REQ boost cards to help you along. Y

the req system is so laggy I refuse to even enter it to switch weapons until req lvl 3.

assault with kinetic bolts at level 2, battle rifle at 3, then upgrade that to kinetic bolts at 4, then essential is level 5 equipping armour mods…advanced sensor is the best, as long as you don’t sprint you will not appear on enemy motion tracker (also at level 5 switch to smg…you guessed it, kinetic bolts). Call in shotguns and swords and odd vehicle too, this ensures you will keep levelling up…

Or go with silencer its better for people than kinetics since thats only vehicle it lets you get the jump on people easier giving a bigger chance at winning
