Hi, I’m about to get reported, if not banned or temporarily banned at least.
I called someone a moron and a parasite, and out of context that does sound uncalled for, I ask that you don’t have to support me, but my call goes out to the community, stand for free speech and don’t give these bullies any renown or acceptance, call out their behavior, do not let it infect the community.
Don’t let Waypoint turn into an Internet safespace, make it a place where people can express their opinions freely without censoring, and most of all, with support.
I ask all of this and good faith and thank those on WayPoint who share this ideal, you make this site worthy of using.
Regardless of context it’s uncalled for - it’s against the rules of the forums to flame other users.

You are free to express your opinions here as long as you follow the rules of the forum 343 have set out when doing so. This forum is a privately owned website, as such doesn’t really fall under freedom of speech or its protection nor can you be absolved of any repercussions from making statements that break the rules.
Your best choice would have been not to respond at all and simply report the other users if you felt they were out of line, not drop down to their level and make personal attacks
