I just saw videos from friends showing them getting standbyed in a game. They walk around into wall then just dropped dead. Are you serious! 343 Please put an end to this. Please catch them and ban their XBOX’s for life before this gets out of hand or I will never get my halo ring. Dedicated servers may stop them from standbying possibly?

This is impossible to do with dedicated servers, standby was only usable when the host of the room used it. It literally just slows his speeds down so no one else gets to talk to him, when they switched to dedicated servers it is impossible for someone to control this. If you do have a video proof, chances are you/ your friends internet just blows and lagged that round. That is one issue that they are having issues with, slow connection speeds to servers…

watch the video that’s in the OP bro. He’s being stand-by cheated. connection magically only slows down while he’s about to kill the cheating -Yoink-, then the game comes back and he’s dead. looks just like halo 2 stand-by.

The game is currently using P2P hosting instead of dedicated servers while they fix them. Do your research first.
