I’ve always wondered why customization isn’t a thing. I would much rather get rid of presets in favor of a truly customizable stance. Something like using the Xbox One’s Kinect camera to capture poses to use based on bodily points of interest, and then using a weapon of your choosing to either be in-hand or attached to your Spartans back.
Maybe a stance for people who play arena a lot, with one foot on a grifball and holding a flag on the shoulder, looking really proud. maybe you unlock it after winning a certain amount of games.

That’s not a bad idea though. What if they had AI enemies as well?
- Climbing a hunter
- Assassinating an elite
- Pulling a jackal’s head back
- Etc.

I like the one of the reloading magnum and the sliding one as well.
What about a stance where your in the air semi-crouched, while auto-stabilizing and aiming down the sights of the sniper rifle?
It would be fairly simple animation wise because you can just make your thrusters flicker like like the jets are working…also fire coming out of the barrel like you just cracked a shot off… angle of the barrel downward almost 45degrees, not straight out
It think it would be seriously awesome…name it SKAVENGER, that’s all I ask…lol
Myself personally am fine with the stances, though a selection box for weapons (whether unlocked or not perhaps) would give players more of a personal touch to their characters. Not to mention some comedic things such as one arming Jorge’s chaingun or even a rocket launcher in the ‘Peacemaker’ stance would be pretty comedic. Some stances such as the salute that was in Halo 4, as well as others, I found to be quite spectacular and gave players like myself a more UNSC militarized style to display as, obviously due to my GT, am quite fond of.
These are merely suggestions and not overly criticizing views.
