Stamina

I have figured a way to have sprint and evade in a halo game such as halo 4 without having armor abilities. Under your health slash shield would be a thin, neon yellow bar. This bar would represent your stamina that you can use to sprint, evade in any direction, and a new ability I thought of called a long jump.

(A long jump basically uses a large portion of the stamina bar to perform a long leap to jump large gaps, over an enemy, or to grab on to a tall wall that was meant for you to do so, and pull yourself up. It will disarm you for a moment, and it would have the animation of you sticking out your arms to grip the ledge, then putting your foot against the wall for support.)

When your stamina bar fully depletes, you must either wait for it to reload, grab a health pack, or perform an assassination to replenish it.

…Reach haters incoming…

OT: That’s pretty cool dude. I would like to see that implemented into the game somewhere.

The idea sounds okay, but the ways to replenish it sound a little silly; Assassinate someone?, Grab a health pack?lol.

But this sounds okay.

So basicly like battlefront 2’s system, well it was okay and good for battlefront but in halo (the first three atleast) we already have fast movement and high jumping for moving from A to B fastly and to get away from a rocket so a sprint and evade feature is not needed

I dont see a point to sprint when you can just up the player speed

In matchmaking? I don’t think so

up it to where it was in Halo 2 and there you go no need for sprint

I thought you meant making custom settings, but even so you weren’t as fast in halo 2 compared to sprinting and diving in reach.

Regardless of any feature or trait that someone discovers, i still don’t think we need it

Halo 2 is a better game than Reach and being faster doesn’t make something better
