Stalker Rifle Mains Out There: Ya'll Got Any Tips?

I made a long reply and then I realized I was talking about the Shock Rifle…
Why do we have two long range banished weapons with the same initials?!

Lol well they both have the common characteristic that if you can land headshots you’re going to have a good time and if you can’t then you probably won’t.

There’s long ranging it like a Sniper and theres hip firing it like a DMR.

This weapon is quite literally a Sniper ranged DMR with pretty bad ammo thanks to the overheat.

Thanks for the info. 2 questions:

It’s recoilless right?

At what range should I start leading shots? Obviously if they’re up in my face, then I just need to aim right at them. But should I do it for mid range fights like when shooting across the courtyard on Bazaar or is it only necessary for long range btb fights?

The problem is the maps that you can use it on. Like streets, it’s so tight and congested. The thing has crazy zoom and it makes it really hard on maps without long lines of sight

Any time!

Gods, yeah, I guess so. I’ve never actually encountered recoil on it I don’t… THINK…? Huhm. Maybe it isn’t!

So, do the weapon drills. Once you do the long range versions you’ll get a REALLY good sense of juuuust how to lead it properly. Best advice I can give you.

See that’s just it, Streets has three long sight ranges and it spawns on the longest. You just basically have to move TO the lane you want to shoot in.

Yeah streets is a strange map for it to be on. I usually just avoid it there. Even stranger is the shock rifle. Honestly surprised it doesn’t appear on behemoth.
