Stalker Rifle In Tactical Slayer, Big Mistake

I personally struggle using the Stalker Rifle in Halo Infinite Multiplayer. It’s ok in some games such as Slayer, BTB and such, but it’s a terrible weapon for Tactical slayer. Your either really good with the Stalker Rifle or you struggle to use it, and for those that struggle to use it, struggle progressing in challenges.

343, Please never introduce this weapon into Tactical Slayer again in public matchmaking.

I will say that putting it in custom games should be ok, for those who like Tactical Slayer with the Stalker Rifle. At least remove it from public matchmaking so the non hardcore players don’t suffer any more.

Its the most accurate of all the weapon types in the event…What exactly is there to struggle with?

It’s powerful (I think it only needs three shots in other modes), but something about it makes it difficult to aim unlike the BR.

Its 3 headshots for a perfect.

The beam is a projectile, not a hitscan so you do have to be mindful of that, but outside of the fact that its not a 3 round burst I don’t really see what issue people would have with it. Its crazy accurate.

So because you can’t use it well, means it shouldn’t be in swat? I bet you wish Dark Souls games had an easy mode.

Isn’t that true for the Mangler as well?
I don’t have issues aiming with that.

I disagree, stalker is one of the better weapons for the mode. Low aim assist and (as far as I know) zero bloom means it is a more pure swat than even BR.

I’d just like to thank 343i for placing me on Washington DC (83ms) and Los Angeles (153ms) servers last night. It made playing the game even more unenjoyable than it is normally for me as an EU players (18ms to Dublin or Amsterdam)…for Stalker Rifle and Mangler the hit detection was noticeably broken and not working at all. I don’t know how my Elite2 is still in one piece when headshot after headshot didn’t register at all.

Mangler has an arc and is a much slower projectile.

Shouldn’t that make it more difficult to aim than a faster projectile with no arc?

Depends on distance and how good your aim is I guess. I don’t really have a problem with the stalker. It’s my favorite of all the variant’s in swat so far.

this is the best version of this and in my opinion the BR tac slayer should be out before stalker rife tac slayer.

BR is actually my least favorite version of the game type. Stalker is cool.

I can’t stand Sidekicks in Tactical Slayer. My favourite variant is Stalker Rifles by far. Manglers would be great but the 2sk ruins it.

Screw these STUPID weapons! The BR is great, don’t fix it if it aint broke! Come on, if you want these STUPID weapons, play slayer leave our Tactical ALONE!!

There are MANY who don’t use it well. It’s not a SWAT weapon. Never has been. Never should be. Those of us who despise regular slayer dont want to play their crap weapons.

I’ve only played one game with the SR. And it was fun.

The slowly dissipating chem-trail added another layer to mix things up.

Each of the different weapons have added a nuance to the game-play. Some better than others of course. But respect for trying something different.

First of all, it’s a laser not bullets. There has NEVER been this type of weapon in SWAT going all the way back to the original Halo. Why start now? There are plenty of other modes for those who want to have different weapons. Those of us lifelong SWAT players don’t like them, don’t want them. The Manglers aren’t even a rifle, so WTF is that doing there?? The commando rifle is quite possible the worst rifle EVER. I just don’t understand why they felt the need to change things up now. Tonight out of 25 games we only had BR’s maybe 3 times.

Not sure what this has to do with anything. Surely you are not upset about it just from an aesthetic standpoint. BR bullet speed is just as fast. Perhaps you just prefer the 3 round burst and high aim assist. That’s fine. Doesn’t make the stalker stupid though.
