I’m a big fan of collecting things, even if they are just needlers and plasma pistols; 343i hit the sweet spot when they allowed for an armory for your power weapons. Only one problem; I’ve stopped using any of my REQ items. I literally have an armory of more than 100+ power weapons, vehicles, and power ups, of all types, and refuse to use them cause in the end, I don’t use these power weapons for fun, I use them out of frustration.
When my teammates can’t seem to stop running me over while I have a shotgun equipped with an invisibility cloak, I basically pull out one of my 134x ghosts and start running over everyone. I don’t care. I’ve gotten to the point where I just search tirelessly for fallen teammate/enemy weapons and if that doesn’t happen, then its just my standard load out weapons.
Call me a fool, but I just refuse to use these items due to lack of effectiveness if you are a single player. It’s a ridiculous argument that I have to party up with 6+ people to make my Halo experience enjoyable. Utterly ridiculous and absurd, I never needed to before (oh, that’s right, cause me and my brother had split screen, that thing 343i said no one used…hmm). Anyone else just stack REQ items cause its frivolous to use them now?
