Stabilizer without using Smart-Link(ADS) ?

I think it would have been much bether if you also could hover in the air without using smart-link(ads)

Its kinda lame that you can only hover by zooming in , you are already in an disadvantage standing there in the air, by zooming in you dont see -Yoink!- around you

What are your toughts on this? Because i really dont understand why we arent able to do that without smart-link

(Or atleast as an option for custom games, imagine using power weapons like rockets or railgun without ads)

You should already have a target when going to hover, it doesn’t last long enough to find a target and actually do anything to them. Hence the lack of utility in hovering as a massive target in the air.

Read post incorrectly. My apologies.

On subject, I haven’t found the need to do something like this. I usually use ground pound for that reason and if it looks like I’m not going to use ground pound I’ll turn around and pound where I just jumped from.

Edited!

I feel as though there isn’t enough of a practical gameplay use/demand for such a feature. I mean, we’re already cramming multiple functions on singular buttons! We’re going to need some intense button combos to make room if we keep adding functionality.
