IS the stability mod gained from mastering the Rogue specialization only effective when using scoped weapons? or does it stabilize your non-scoped shots as well?
Only scoped weapons. It was one of the first specializations i picked up. I find it not all that great unless i’m using the light rifle. The light rifle seems to have a TON of flinch zoomed in, the armor mod eliminates most of it making the LR more competitive against DMR at longer ranges.

I think both since it says increase stability when being fired up on. doesnt say “when scoped” or hip fire
I haven’t noticed any flinch while hip firing anyway.
There is no flinch when hip firing, hence it only applies when scoped.
The br moves up a little bit after every shot. Maybe rogue decreases the recoil while hip firing a br a little bit

I picked this up after Tracker, mainly because I love the helmet though. I can’t even see my self using it that much, since I think having dexterity or ammo is more beneficial. What do you guys think?

This is correct. Flinch only occurs when being shot by an enemy while scoped.
The crosshair movement from the br hip fire is recoil, which is a seperate mechanic , and thus is not effected by the stability armor mod.

As for the topic, I haven’t tested it.
thats not flinch either, thats just the sniper rifles power to move you. its like saying gravity hammer or concussion rifle makes you flinch lol
