For those that have it. Is it just me or does watch dog not look anywhere close to what 343 showed off. Granted the weapon coatings look decent but the Armor Coating looks nothing like what they showed off earlier. Petition to get the vibrant Watchdog

I like the idea of having Watchdog look beaten and used, but I think iād like a more clean and pristine looking Watchdog even more. Itās kinda surprising, because the weapons look brand new with the coating but the armor looks war-torn.

I was thinking the exact same thing. It look really disappointing. The coating doesnāt look unique either, compared to some of the offerings in the store.
As it look right now, no oneās gonna ask āwhere you got that coating fromā.
But I like the weapon skins.

Iām someone whoās last xbox was the 360 so I didnāt get the opportunity to farm out the watchdog coating. Can any of you guys provide a pic or a link to what it looks like currently cause I want to see how different it is.
Im not sure how to send a picture on here but Itās literally grey armor with a few red accents, the default armor coatings are more shiny looking than it

Iāve also just noticed that the watchdog weapon coatings look super similar to the HCS winter weapon coatings, the colors are just switched up a little bit and I feel like that makes it less unique looking now. Hard to differentiate between them

@UmbralStar108 Looks more greyish than the white from the render. Donāt tell me itās the lighting because it still looks incredibly bland on all the current maps in the game.

Thanks and geez this is not what I was envious of Halo 5 players overā¦ Oof. I hope this gets fixed to what was promised cause that promo version was so sick.
I armor coating and weapon coatings to me are not a good enough reward for people who hit 152, they should be given an armor set or something better.

I responded to a thread yesterday about a āWear Sliderā for armor coatings, which I think is an excellent idea. If you could choose the amount of wear on your coating, everyone who likes it currently would be satisfied and everyone who wants a cleaner Watchdog coating would be satisfied as well. I love this idea, as I wish I could make Watchdog more vibrant as well.

Exactly at least maybe a good middle ground would be a toggle for worn vs shiny. But what they showed off last year was the reason I grinded out the last bit to 152 and then I boot it up and see its worn and Iām a little disappointed. Please spread the word if you guys have other people you know or post to other peoples concerns with the watchdog skin. I donāt have Twitter but if someone wants to post on there about this as well I think it will help us gain traction.
