In the new title update will they be extending the SR130 rank? Or will they be extending it ever?
Probably not.
This update will be about CSR, not regular SR.
Its just like back during Social and Ranked in previous games.
your SR130 would be your Social Level.

130 is pathetic. There should have been alot more ranks from the start. I would play the game more if there were more ranks as would alot of the people I know.
What I dont get is why there are 10000/30000 challenges, Just makes people rank up faster

Its especially less impressive because of the 30 Matches of Double XP you could have had from the get go due to the Mt. Dew Promotion.
Lots of people hit 130 within 2 weeks of release.
Not to mention 8 of those levels require no work.
When you trade Specializations, you immediately go from, for example, 50 to 51.
So every specialization you pick gives you a free level.
I’ve mentioned this on another thread already but I think it’s a serious issue.
Whats happening to the XP we’re getting right now? Is it secretly stockpileing or is it just going down the drain?
What about the bonus XP for commendations? If we get a commendation right now are we waisting bonus XP? And I havnt used any of the latest waypoints codes yet either.
I really want to know if I should wait until more ranks come out or forget about XP all together and concentraite on my CSR?

I know that there are a lot of threads about it but the threads wont stop until the problem is fixed. There are a lot of halo fans that want the change, I just don’t understand what can be so hard about adding ranks.
I think that SR130 is just fine, not too easy and not too hard to get.

They anounced that the new title update will have 1-50 CSR (competitive Skill Rank) which will pair you with other players similar to your rank. Your rank will only be visible on Waypoint though which is pathetic but better than nothing. Personally, i’d prefer the Reach ranking system but maybe thats only coz i never played Halo 3 MP. Reason for that is because i only got xbox live last year in October, and only used it to play Reach before 4 came out.
Halo 4 strikes me as a game that isn’t meant to be played for long.
