SR130 and just earned XP...

Just finished a game of Majestic FFA and somehow I earned XP despite being at SR130. This some kind of glitch or something? The end of the XP bar had the “All Specializations Mastered” banner at the end, but a small portion of the bar was empty.

Anyone else experience this?

Nothing to it.

Go to Waypoint on the Xbox and look at how much XP you need till next rank. There is a massive number that never changes.

It has happened to me many times before.

If I go to my Halo Waypoint Career, it says for Halo 4 I have reached max rank; 70,000 XP out of 9,223,372,036,854,437,407 XP.

That is a friggin’ LOT of XP!!!

That only happens when you complete a challenge or commendation.

I noticed and experienced this as well. Just a theory, but what if there was a higher rank than SR-130?

You can get to SR-131, you’ll just need 9,223,372,036,854,437,407 XP!

In reality, SR-130 is the max, even if you were to achieve that absurd amount of XP in your lifetime, I doubt it would say “SR-131”.

I’m dedicated to Halo, but it would take more than I could handle! lol

Ah, so does this indicate that all that xp you earn at max rank ISN’T being wasted? That it is being recorded and stored? Hmm…
