So while i was waking up this morning, i thought of a theory as to why they stopped at SR152. Halo 5 is moving to a “new beginning” with the series. They added Locke and are obviously moving away from chief. I know this is a stretch, but those who played pokemon know that the “new beginning” after the original game was #152. I know it is a stretch, i’m preparing for the grilling 
It would be a subtle reference. I don’t know why they chose 152 though.

Maybe it’s because of a generated percentage increase in the ranks that equals to SR 152.

Plausible as well. They could have set 50,000,000 to any number though.

Cortona is embedded into the pokedex, that’s how all of the information is already in there. She took all of the information from the library that the forerunners made.
