Will we still be able to get the sr 152 reward for infinite after lunch?
I would guess that the reward will be able to be unlocked post Halo Infinites launch as I don’t see any reason to restrict this reward only to individuals who managed to reach SR152 before a specific date. In addition to that, if a requirement that you had to reach SR152 before a specific date to unlock the Halo Infinite rewards would exist, then the most likely thing would probably be that a such detail would have been specified in a public statement.
At this time, there doesn’t exist anything that points towards the otherwise which leaves me to conclude that there doesn’t exist any time specific unlock requirements for these items.
I know I’m on the 152 grind, knowing full well I won’t get it before infinite launches. Holding out faith that because they haven’t specified you need to do so pre-launch that it means you can do so post-launch. Otherwise they may as well just shut 5 down when infinite launches.

There will be people who want to keep playing H5 after Infinite releases regardless of the reward. It’s meant to be a “token of appreciation” for people who happen to reach 152 — not an incentive to grind.

For sure it’s mp is my favorite to date. I was over simplifying, I meant that since it already gets little to no support and has a low population & that population is set to get lower when infinite comes out regardless, but more so if 152 reward isn’t around. A lot of people who play 5 are playing to get to 152 for the infinite reward. There comes a point where the population could get low enough that it would no longer make sense to keep the servers up. That was more what I was saying, and more in jest then actual opinion. I think 5 will hold a solid lil population just like I think the reward will be attainable post launch.

Agree, I doubt they’ll lock the reward to only pre launch. At the end of the day, it’s going to be even harder for folks to do it then so May as well keep the reward around.
