Some of my friends and I were talking about things we missed last night,and one of them was Squad Slayer. Why did they take it off? I mean it was awesome when you have 5 people and especially if you really freaking hate armor lock. I just want Squad Slayer back cause a lot of times I will be playing TS with people then someone joins and then we have to play BTB cause no one wants to play Team objectives or be on the other team for TS. Also, I love not having to worry about armor lock. I would actually like if they made two squad slayer playlist one plain and the other with the Tu. Also, I know a lot of people are going to say well just play the squad dlc but I personally don’t like the dlc maps, I want to play on the maps I play on everyday but instead of 4 players I want it to be 5v5. Please rally behind me in making 343i bring back Squad Slayer.
I definitely agree that it would be great for squad slayer to make a comeback but I dont think we can “make” 343 do anything. The most helpful thing we can do is to try and show 343 that there is enough of a demand for squad slayer to justify bringing back the playlist.
Super Slayer should be removed and a TUed Squad Slayer with only sprint and party matching should be put into its place. There is a small but vocal portion of the population that will be appeased with this.

Small? Squad had a much higher population at all times compared to the pathetic playlist known as Super Slayer. At least in Squad I had some competition every once in awhile.
Instead, apply the TU to Team Slayer and bring back Squad. Stop splitting the game up and catering to bad players.

Im not sure what you consider “much higher” but squad capped at about 1200-1400 at peak times when over 100,000 players would be on. Currently Super Slayer peaks at about 900-1100, but the overall population is reduced as well, so it appears to be holding about the same general population percentage.
Perhaps if you are looking for a higher degree of competition, you should try MLG, they love calling players pathetic and bad, so you should fit in quite well.

Not true, I agreed, I just contend that a few hundred at peak times is not “much higher” as you had stated.
As to one playlist, there is more then one playlist considered “competitive”, MLG, Arena, Doubles are a few.
As far as cancer to Halo, when I started playing Halo, there were two types of players, those that played Halo and those that didnt. If there is a cancer in Halo, it is those players that treat other Halo players like jerks.

Dubs is a joke. Not only are half the match ups blow outs (no ranking system), but the settings are awful.
Jetpacks are abused to high hell as usual. Don’t try to tell a player with much more competitive experience than you what is competitive in this game.
We have MLG, and if you can even find a game in Arena - that. However no one plays Arena because anything other than MLG settings in this game are awful for competitive play. Fact.

So, you agree MLG and Arena are competitive playlist and you would know as you are a competitive player. You have intricate knowledge of the doubles playlist, because you have played it, I assume because it is known to be a more competitive playlist then say TS, yet I am clueless.

Yeah, Squad slayer should come back. Maybe they should remove Squad DLC to replace with Squad Slayer.

I did like squad slayer actually. I’m not sure the reasoning behind removing it exactly. Honestly though, any playlist non-TU is good in my books. Squad DLC is good too but I get your point. Would be nice to be brought back. Replace Super Slayer, playlist is a ghost town anyway.
