Squad DLC: WHY?

Squad DLC has been my haven and home ever since the PREMIUM Playlists died. Squad DLC has a fine population, just about rivalling double team, and I present the best argument:

Why remove it?

You are not entering new playlists into the fray, and it will not need updating unless everyone decides to buy the DLC at the exact same time, which is highly unlikely.

Get off my back with the “343 will never listen to you, you are just a lonesome duck in a sea of conformers”, and join me, fellow campaigners. (And ducks.) So will you join me, or do you not have a mind of your own?

I don’t see why they would take them away considering we paid over $40 for them. And their excuse was kind of funny. Halo 4 does need more attention, but as of now it’s not out and what we have right now is Reach. So why rid of it now when there’s a few more months to go?

All I ever play is Squad DLC as well and sometimes anniversary btb (they are removing that too)this is insane how can they do this

they removed it before and it was brought back because of people complaining here so we gotta make sure every post on halo reach forums is about this OK Guys there better be topics about this on the first page at all times lets do this

by the way most people who are on these forums own the dlc
also they say the population of squad dlc is low but not everyone owns the dlc so since since like 1/10 halo reach players (not even) own dlc and theres 200 - 300 in squad dlc times it by 10 thats like 2,000 - 3,000

Have you played Reach over the past few days while the population counter was frozen?

It was on 36 players, think about that, recently, when the counter froze, there were 36 players in Squad DLC.

There is no denying it was an extremely unpopular playlist.

No, it wasn’t, it was frozen when the game hit 23,000 just after the Super Jackpot ended in Team Objective finished, hence why Team Objective had the 1,200 players in, Squad DLC has a legitimate 36 players at the time of the population counter freezing.

Stop denying the facts, the playlist was highly demanded but was poorly used by those who wanted it.

Fine. Maybe in 'merica 'merica 'merica it drops to double digits, because 99% of people are too cheap to buy a couple of ultra cheap physical DLC cards, but in europe, the land of dreams, everyone I know who has reach, (except one, and guess what, he’s 'merican) have the DLC. :slight_smile: Keep it up for europe! (And also Ghana and south Africa. :))

compared to people who own dlc to all other playlists this is probably more popular than team slayer…

Hewett there no point fighting Moa since he obviously thinks he’s in the right just because he’s an admin.

They also said they would remove it if it had low population, which it does. That was the reason Premium Battle was removed. I doubt they are going to bring it back another time.

like if 100k people are on reach and only 1k own the dlc and theres 10k on team slayer thats 1/10 and 200 on squad dlc thats 1/5 that means squad dlc is more than team slayer so of course it will have kinda low numbers cause barley anyone has the dlc but theyre huge compared to dlc owners

No matter what time, I could always get into a match on Squad DLC. Peak time or 4 A.M EST time. 67 players or thousands. Sure, numbers below 100 are skimpy but if you can find a match…you can find a match. I could find matches.

I’ve spent hundreds on this game altogether, I want to play what I want to play. Stop butchering Reach just because it’s Bungie’s baby and not your’s, 343i. We don’t need you to do anything else to the game.

SQUAD DLC IS ALL I WANT TO PLAY not everyone has dlc so of course numbers will be lower than a playlist that doesn’t require dlc but its huge compared to dlc owners keep it please I beg you guys I dont like any of the non dlc maps

This exactly, this is my opinion entirely, heck, it is fact, Squad DLC has had a poor population for a long time, there is no denying that.

Sqaud DLC is bad. It is vanilla Reach.

It has 250~ players in it.

If you like AR starts on Highlands you don’t deserve to exist. Good riddance to bad playlists, just make BTB DLC required.
