Squad Battle *new idea*

Remove super slayer and team objective.

Add Squad Battle

5v5 Settings same as original squad slayer.

Same party restrictions as before

Top voting option always slayer

Second option Random slayer/obj

Third option Objective.

None of the above and then same again.

Same maps as squad slayer

Basically this playlist will be squad slayer with a side of objective which can make gameplay alot more competitive

That’s actually a good idea! I though objective may add more competition into it but maybe not :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t understand why it wasn’t like that in the first place.

6v6 is too big for small-team maps, and too small for Big Team maps. The only 2 that would really fit are Boardwalk and Tempest.

Yeah 5v5 is better than 6v6. That would feel way too cramped :frowning:

Halo Reach isn’t Halo 3.

I like your idea but the slots should be something like this.

  1. Slayer DMR’s with AR as secondary.

  2. Oddball, king of the hill, 3 plot.

3 Capture the flag [1 flag/2 flag]

Maybe swap the capture and control gametypes, and add in 3 plot.

I would LOVE this. Plus objective’s population is pathetic, so they could please those who miss Squad, as well as incorporate Objective since they changed that to 5v5. Excellent idea OP.

Besides those two, countdown, condemned, anchor 9 are good examples of maps that can work for 6v6. Add into this a few forge world maps that can be built with 6v6 in mind (I’m actually working on one right now) and you can have a steady rotation of maps to start with, and can continue to add onto in the future.

How quickly you forget that the most played map in squad was Asylum…

Which in Reach is still a forge world map. Are you saying that youre ok with forged maps as long as they are remakes?

Take out Asylum and replace it with Overkill’s Sanctum.

I am ok with certain forge maps, but most are not that great.
