I have not seen this in discussion, maybe someone can help. I usually just play Warzone FireFight. A lot of the time players are running faster than me. I have noticed sometimes they are running with no weapon. I have tried everything I can think,searching YouTube. In game I have managed to sprint with only fists once. Once with no fist and no weapon, but I have not been able to duplicate. I do not know if it was dependent on the map. Could someone please help.
There are a few ways you can move faster in Warzone (Firefight):
- Equipping a weapon that gives you a speed boost (Energy Sword, Oathsworn, Whispered Truth, CE Magnum, SPNKr Prime) - Speed Booster (increases overall movement and jump height) - Upgraded Thrusters (faster sprinting) - Speed Boost power-ups

I have noticed running without weapon and being the slower runner, when the players are leaving the jump ship transport, at the very beginning of the map.

^ That. I don’t think there’s anything you can do to force sprinting without a weapon.
It’s not running without a weapon at all. It’s actually running with a magnum. It replicates running without a weapon because the player model pumps it’s arms like it is running normally

.And that’s not just true for Warzone Firefight.

I get what you mean on the map Skirmish at Darkstar in WZ firefight when I’m running past the red gatedoor to the fortress my weapon disappears as if I have no weapon because my screen does a half a second glitch as if I died.My hands only reappear if I do a ground pound (sprinting, spartan charging, clambering, and thrusting doesn’t make my weapons and arms appear.)

That happens when a player jips in the very beginning of the game(after you land) what happens is that person spawns in the blue team pelicans(which don’t happen unless the jip happens) since the new pelicans spawn, it triggers a quick black flash, as well as making your weapons go down.
The whole “reloading whilst walking” thing really annoys me. We’re super soldiers… We should be able to sprint whilst reloading… Without that REQ equipped.
Though I’ve not seen this glitch you guys are talking about.

Super soldiers or not, reloading while sprinting isn’t really possible. You know how we swing our arms back and forth while sprinting? Yeah, that’s because we need to do that in order to achieve higher speeds, it’s not just for show. Trying to reload a weapon would inevitably slow you down, because you just can’t run as fast without doing so. Spartans are still human, and can’t bypass that body movement.
