Ok, so many of you ,including me, are worried about the sprint mechanic in Halo 4. Likewise, many of you have your own solutions. This is mine but feel free to agree/disagree and please, tell me your solution. Basically, if someone is sprinting and melees while coming out of sprint, then there should be a time period right after you stop sprinting that your melee does less damage. Imagine the reach MLG melee settings, that is how much damage you would do inside of that time after you stop sprinting. While the other person who the sprinter is going after does full melee damage and can drop the sprinter’s shields in one hit while the sprinter, it will take two.
TL;DR:Directly after sprinting you do less melee damage for a short time. While the person who is being attacked by the sprinter can drop his shields in one hit as opposed to two.
