Sprint

I’m not gonna write an essay on why I made this topic, like most people writing an essay trying to change my mind won’t work.
now, sprint. I honestly don’t see what’s so wrong with sprint it makes it turn to another audience, most people I’ve met over Halo have told me they’ve wanted a good Halo game with sprint in it, if you don’t like the new changes to Halo? Just don’t play it that’s why MCC was made, you still think it’s broken? I’m Australian and I have -Yoink- internet and I could find a game under 30 seconds each time. It’s not broken. Anyway back on topic. Go play Halo 3 if it was so great? Oh you don’t want to play those maps for the rest of your life? Well get off the Halo 5 hate and realise how good of a game it could be without all this bandwagon hate. I hate seeing the Halo community like this because I’ve seen the COD community, it’s horrible.

facepalm

couldn’t you just post this on all the other various threads about sprint…instead of making another thread about it

-MCC is broken, and 343 has shown they don’t really care.
-Merely allowing a sprint toggle in the custom game options or even throwing us a bone with 1 or 2 “classic” playlists, while better than nothing, is not the answer and further fragments an already fragmented fanbase. It didn’t work with Reach, it didn’t work with H4, and it probably won’t work with H5.
-343 and MS don’t care about you, me, or anyone else at the end of the day. Just our wallets and the numbers. Nothing more.
-If lack of sprint was the norm in most games nowadays, Halo 5 would not have sprint. That’s the ONLY reason it’s in. To attract young children and the CoD crowd, and because MS may or may not be looking over their shoulder and heavily encouraging it or straight up demanding it.
-343 only cares about selling launch copies. They don’t care about maintaining a healthly multiplayer population. The last two Halos have failed in that regard, and the H5 beta had lackluster numbers, too, especially in comparison to the H3 beta. All 3 games have sprint (although sprint isn’t the sole contributor to Halo’s decline in players and quality, it is a factor).

These are facts.

-If 343 didn’t care they wouldn’t be making a patch, communicating development of said patch, apologizing for their mistakes and offering free stuff to make amends.
-The only answer you seem to want, regarding sprint, is for it to be removed. Since that’s not going to happen, this is the best option. It makes no sense to only cater to one part of the fan base when its possible to bring something for everyone. “Fragmenting the playerbase” was not the issue with Reach and H4, not at all.
-343, like any other group that creates and is adored by the people who buy their products, does in fact care about the fan base. Don’t get your personal wants and wishes confused with the mass.
-Maybe. But that’s not the case. Halo 5 is being built around fast paced movement game play, sprint is just one part of the many other features added/refined to meet this goal. For the record, I very much dislike CoD and I love the mechanics. So do my friends that have played, all college age and long time Halo fans who feel that this is a great direction for it to take. Once again, just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean it’s for children or “CoD fans”.

It’s funny how you claim everything you said are facts but they’re simply opinions you’ve pulled out of your -Yoink-. If you don’t like the game or some part of it, then fine, say so. But don’t act like your opinions are researched statements with statistics to back them up (Hell even a link or two that doesn’t lead to anecdotal evidence would be appreciated).

Then don’t waste everyone’s time starting a thread to discuss it.

“Let’s debate a topic but understand first that regardless of your arguments I won’t change my mind.”

Agree these People have no Idea what they are talking about most of the time. Frank has said plenty of times They are hard at work on MCC they have two separate team working on both Halo 5 and MCC, and they have not take a break since it was released and has sworn they wouldn’t until its finished and finally fixed.

Well you with your whopping 760 halo score and 100 oh sorry, 98 games played should have plenty of experience to tell us what halo needs. Bud I have 20k kills on h2 and even more then that on every halo fps to date. But you have 98 games and know what halo needs. I remember when I was that young and ignorant, but just barely.
