I’m curious to see the final iteration of sprint. It means a lot that they’re taking steps to balance it further. However, there are those who will never be satisfied if sprint is in the game period. Sad for them. Hopefully MCC will get fixed soon for those living in the past.

Their is absolutely no -Yoink!- reason to have sprint that makes sense. The only idiotic viable reason for sprint is because its ‘modern’

Oh man, I bet the reason you support the mechanic is because its modern. All you pro sprint players only want it because its the new toy on the shelf and you all lack the capacity to understand why its bad for the game. Or you’re all just idiots that couldn’t care less of actually making the MP better…I think the latter. Please give me a logical reason as to why sprint is good for Halo. Oh you can’t? Like I said, living in the past. I hope I rustled your jimmies. For your information, I’ve been anti-sprint for 4 years until the beta released. I did not enjoy Reach or Halo 4. I know too well how sprint affected gameplay. You let a lone mechanic blind you from all the good 343 is doing for Halo’s competitive scene. Halo 5 has all the tools necessary to be a competitive Halo. I never said sprint adds to gameplay. It’s in because it is 2015, and I understand the industry has changed since 2007. Sprint is not the end of competitive Halo. I’m not “pro-sprint”, I’m just being realistic. It’s fans like you who hold on to the past, and hold 343 back. The modernization of Halo was inevitable, and H5 seems like a satisfying middle ground.

The current version of sprint no.
Speed increase in halo needs to be a minor boost to base speed. For the moment the current version makes disengaging from mid combat to easy. Move at base speed a then drop to base speed b when shot or shooting is another speed increase that would work in halo. It just reduces the use of sprint as a tool to turn and run from position.
current sprint not a fan. Closed to the idea of adding speed to travel in a halo game no. It just needs to be done correctly.
