Please give us classic fans something we can enjoy too, even if it’s a few separate playlists
It shouldn’t even be in singleplayer, let alone multiplayer. Halo was fine without it
In Campaign, it makes sense given the Open World…But even then, they could just make Chief’s base speed as fast as “sprint”. After all, Spartans are enhanced supersoldiers that have high-tech armor. All of this is supposed to make them naturally superfast. It’s even in the lore.
I doubt it’ll be in competitive multiplayer, though…
I already suspected Sprint to be in Halo Infinite ever since the rumour that it would be open world. Open world games always have some form of sprinting/running, which is perfectly fine given the circumstances of open world gameplay.
Multiplayer is what I’m anxious about. Sprinting absolutely has no place in an Arena shooter. It cannot be balanced. If it’s in there, then 343 simply doesn’t care about the whole Sprint debacle and simply do whatever they want.
I agree. In campaign fine. If it has to be in multiplayer fine but please take all advanced movement including slide, clamber and sprint out of certain hardcore/ranked playlists. Having those abilities in some social playlists is fine or whatever. Especially juggernaut where nobody but the juggernaut has advanced movement!
Its sad that us classic Halo fans, need to beg and hope for a classic arena style mutiplayer. If you want my opinion, abilities will always be included in multi as well, they didnt include them in the game only to keep them in campaign alone. We will likely get a playlist or two that doesnt include them and thats it…
