But only as an option in custom games …
I was about to say you made my heart start pounding.
I don’t care if sprint comes back. I didn’t mind it but my life won’t end if it isn’t in halo 4.

Hehe. I am against Sprint being in matchmaking, but i see no reason for why sprint shouldnt be in custom games for those who want it as long as it stays there, and only there. I neither have the time or do i bother to make a long text about it, so I put it like this.
Sprint should make a return in both matchmaking and custom games.
Now lock thread, cuz tbh, we don’t need another full blown sprint thread…
Do you really think 343i would implement a major game mechanic just for use in custom games? Sprint will either be a big part of gameplay or not in the game at all.

There are several AA’s and Equipment that can only be found in custom game. Nevertheless Custom games is a big part of Halo.

But matchmaking is a bigger part. I’d go as far as to say that it is an overall success in Reach (sprint). It’s like he said, it’s either in custom and mm, or not in at all. If you enjoy it so much in custom games like me, then there shouldn’t be a big whoop about it in mm.

I’ve never noticed any… at all. The Target Locator is the only thing that is game mode specific.

Flare, Radar jammar, and lots of AA’s are taken out of specific gametypes and modes. Flame grenades in Halo 3 never got to see matchmaking either.

True, there were game specific things in Halo 3, but usually it was just because the not every weapon is going to be on every map… You’re right about Firebombs though.
And in Reach there were none, aside from the TL.

All of those things were once in matchmaking and taken out because of player complaints or the fact that they didn’t work well with a certain gametype. They weren’t added in specifically for customs. Flame grenades caused frame rate problems so they were scrapped from matchmaking.
