Sprint should never be in halo.

The trilogy games worked perfectly without it. Why not continue the greatness of the trilogy games and add other things into halo 4? Sprint ruined halo reach for me as well as other things and putting it in halo 4 seriously broke my spirits. I thought 343 would take it back to the core gameplay but nope, they sold out like every other mainstream company. Halo was so amazing without all these stupid additions reach put in and now we have halo reach 2. Thanks 343.

why do people insist in making the same threads? just go to the existing one!

lol oh look another thread about sprint

> why do people insist in making the same threads? just go to the existing one!

I cannot click the thank button enough.
I’d like to see discussion that’s not about sprint or AA’s for a change.

Halo Formula:

Grenades, Guns, Melee, Vehicles, Power-ups (Includes over-shields and active camo.)

Whether sprint is in Halo or not, it doesn’t make a difference.

why can’t people just hat in one tread, this must be like the 500th of these that just say in the title tings like: Why Sprint in H4 (HATE HATE HATE)

How does it not make a difference?

I just told you. Those 5 aspects are the Halo formula.

A temporary increase in movement speed does not change or break the formula.

Ironic since people have wanted a sprint function since Halo 2. It makes you run faster. That’s it.

uhhhh who?

I saw plenty of threads on Bungie.net and other gaming forums thinking sprinting would e a good idea. Hell, with the X button for Halo 3’s control scheme, before we knew of equipment, a lot of people thought it would be for a sprint function.

I literally never saw one. Not a single one and I visited that site daily for years.

That’s what I remember dude. And like I said, I also saw the idea on other gaming boards to, a part you left out.

It is very unfortunate that I didn’t come here before Reach came out. I would in fact have protested against it, which is the exact reason for why I am here now.

Am I playing the same game as you people?
I have never been bothered by the enemy’s use of Sprint, Armour Lock, or other AA’s.

“The trilogy games worked perfectly without it. Why not continue the greatness of the trilogy games and add other things into halo 4?”
Contradiction. The Halo series would work perfectly the way it was anyway. You can’t complain about Sprint (which was Bungie trying to add new gameplay elements) and then suggest even more gameplay elements which will undoubtedly be complained about for not being part of the Core Gameplay.

Games need to change and evolve or else they become stale. We laugh at CoD for being the same old -Yoink-, but we cry because Halo 4 won’t be like previous games.

Halo fans can be so stubborn.

> YOU laugh at CoD for being the same old Yoink!, but I cry because Halo 4 won’t be like previous games.

While i don’t mind change, I don’t want to change for the sake of change.

CoD : Same game every year.
What fanboys want of Halo : Same game every year…
And yet they still hate on CoD for being the same every year.
Change is good, otherwise, we’d still be playing on PC, no Xbox…

It’s a new game, change is a must otherwise we would just be paying for new campaign missions and Multiplayer maps.

I want the series to change otherwise I’d just buy Halo 3 again.
Oh, and don’t change my words, you scumbag. If “You laugh at CoD for being the same old Yoink!, but you cry because Halo 4 won’t be like previous games” did not apply to you then ignore it.

Perfectly is a strong word.

But what is with everyone’s obsession to just make the trilogy games with updated graphics? Can we please have the series evolve? Progress? Become more, rather than stagnate as the series with ten year old gameplay?

Sprint should never be in halo? Well it is, and you cant change that, so get over it. They arent going to re skin halo 3 and people need to get over that, this is a new trilogy, yes, NEW.
