Regarding movement. Im very satisfied as a fan of both Bungie and 343 eras and ways of moving our supersoldiers.
Its a very stable, flexible compromise you, 343 have come up with.
KEEP IT as is. So we can put this vile, festering argument war from both sides in over a decade, into the lava pit for good!

Halo Infinite solved the sprint problem
And notes from this video is:
Sprint is in Halo Infinite more of a inherent, bodily tool, that links to more mobile techniqes like slide and more momentum jumps that are there IF you want to do them.
Those who prefer ordinary movement, well dont sprint. Since both methods are nearly the same speed.
And since the speed of sprint is not much faster than max non speed movement, maps dont have the problem of being balanced around especially sprinting players.
Clamber, slide then you might say. Well still options, you dont have to do them.
Theres even options in the setting menu to turn OFF auto sprint, clamber etc.
You are not at a disadvantage, actually more tactical with taking a bit more time not doing acrobatics.
And you who despise more " advanced " movement will be just as effective. Its easier to hit enemies that slides and such than in H5 f. ex.
And since the speed of sprint is barely faster, theres NO sane reason to remove shield recharge either. If it was like 10-50% faster, then YES thats a whole other ball game, like Halo 5 was, even H4 and Reach to some degree.
So both camps can calm their rage down once and for all! Over max advanced mobility vs none at all.
Also kudos for making Thrusters an upcoming equipment, judging by the control/ settings menu.
Jet packs can do aswell. Sure all armors canon/ lorewise have some degree of space operating thrusters in their Mjolnir armor. Thrusther armor equipment, just enchances this. Makes sense.
