I’ve tried many times now under other topics to get someone…anyone…to describe what happens both visually and in speed difference between moving one’s Spartan normally and via Sprinting. My play style requires Sprinting, and from what I can see and measure distance over time is that Sprint is NOT working at all whether using the normal Xbox One controller or the Elite If anyone could please describe what happens when they use Sprint, it would go a long way toward solving the problem. Thax in advance
I’ not sure what your problem is. Try explaining more clearly to me. Explain your problem tome like I’m five yrs. old and I might could help you.
When you get to full speed while sprinting, an “arrow” or something like it will appear on each side of the screen: < >
Sprint simply has no visual or logistical effect that I am able to cause whether using the Xbox One basic controller or the new Elite! Nothing happens when I use the Sprint command no matter how I use it or with any method/action meant to trigger the command! I cannot be more descriptive then that!
Youre not experiencing hardware failure this has to be a user error as you utilized 2 controllers to remedy your problem. Are you on halo 5 now?
Is sprint disabled in your settings?

have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in?

Make sure you press the right button / Trigger / Bumper / Thumbstick.
By default the Sprint command is issued with the left Thumbstick.
If you’ve changed controller layout chances are the sprint command is on another button etc. Check that through the options menu.
When sprinting:
Crosshair will change to a large “rectangular” one with two borders left and right, both are triangular
Your weapon will lower and it’ll bob up and down.
It takes a second to reach full speed, and if you click the crouch button you’ll do a slide.
If you are really good with details, small small white “speed lines” will appear on the screen going from the crosshair towards the border of the monitor.
Your speed is also increased.
Link to game footage where sprinting happens. With the description I gave above you should be able to discern what happens visually when players sprint.
