Sprint problem fixed?

Im having a hard time understanding how not having your shield regen while sprinting will help balance the gameplay… ppl will still run away when 1 shot or 2, and with the addition of thrusts and -Yoink- it’ll be worse?
I dunno i can’t wait for the beta to play it.
I was hoping they would bring back dual wielding, and disable sprinting while dual wielding, with emphasis on close quarters gameplay. or be able to shoot while sprinting so u can chase down that running away -Yoink!-, but nope!
i don’t think sprint and halo mix at all.

Honestly, if I had to agree on a compromise (seeing as how much 343industries or their publisher wants sprint to be in Halo) I would much like it if they introduced “desprint” (like descope, except it kicks you out of sprint if you take damage) and make it so that instead of the shield not recharging while you sprint, you won’t be able to enter sprint unless you have full shields.

The key issues that sprint has with map design will still be present, but at least you won’t have players running away thanks to sprint, because you’d be able to force an encounter with them by simply shooting at them.

Funny story, I was playing H2A earlier and walked into a firefight blindly. It was pretty stupid of me to do so considering the odds I was against…So when my shields went red I ran away and survived. Dude had to chase me down and by the time my shields recharged I got the drop on him and killed him. But…that could never happen in a game without sprint so I must have dreamed it.
