Now that the poll option came back lets really see what the community wants.
This is redundant. No poll one of us lot makes is going to hold any more validity than 343’s one, as it outclasses the sample size by a couple of factors of ten. Plus, this one is a lot more biased. The select slice of the community on a few forums does not represent the vast majority of the player base. In any case, I vote yes, because it’s what’s going to happen.

This is what you want not what 343 is forcing you to accept.
I personally don’t like sprint, well, I’m nonplussed on it really.
I like “Classic” Halo, I feel sprint encourages bad play. Players who just died, respawn and go for revenge kills, just sprint into a hail of bullets and make dumb plays. Then there’s the maps, huge maps, horribly designed maps and even if they give us a classic playlist without sprint that playlist is doomed because the maps are far too big and makes for slow gameplay.
There is a pretty large poll for this on this forum, but it’s with likes. The other one with a real poll is on the mcc forum.

The one 343 used was pretty inaccurate seeing as how
- Halo’s community isnt on here
- The survey they quoted was one in which a lot of players didnt know about
I don’t care whether there’s sprint or no sprint. But lately I’m getting tired of people complaining about this being in the games and constantly asking whether it should be in the next game or, because I don’t see anything wrong with sprint.

Just because it upsets YOU it doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be asked. Don’t open and read it.
Considering Waypoint is filled with a bunch of Conservative old men who want things to always be the same and want the best only for themselves, you will have different results than 343i’s survey.
How about real issues. Like fast -Yoinking!- Kill Times?
In saying that, still voted for no sprint.
In a perfect world thered be no sprint in halo.
Looks like no sprint is currently winning. Seems like 343’s survey was altered because no way only 11% wanted no sprint

With Halo communities across the internet burning with hatred for sprint it’s pretty damn obvious 343’s “11%” figure is complete crap. We may not be the majority, but we’re a hell of a lot more than a tiny vocal minority.
Seeing as maps were built for Sprint, it has to stay for default. If maps hadn’t been built yet, I would have voted for no sprint.

I’d accept the game being pushed back 6 months so they can remove sprint and make decent maps.

Well at the moment its 40% vs 60% and on this forum that’s close, and the trouble with polls it always depends on who your asking and the people posting on this site will be less than 10% who play Halo.

That and the way the poll is worded helps the sprint crowd. People are voting for it just because they know it won’t be removed rather than on the principle of sprint itself.

you do realize that Halo CE has much faster kill times then Halo 5 right?

First, they aren’t “much faster”. They’re roughly the same. Second, you have to aim in CE.

just because 343’s sample size was larger doesn’t make it a better survey, but it increases the probability it will have less error. I still think they should’ve just sent out an app download to people who played enough to get rated rather than people had to sign up for the program.
