Sprint is terrible. The only reason I play reach is because the new mlg settings saved the game for me. They have no bloom and no sprint.
Please 343 I am asking for you to get rid of sprint. My opinion is it stinks.
I will not buy reach if it has sprint.

I am not mad at those who want it but I personally think sprint is bad for halo. It makes it completely not fun for me. Hopefully we all get the playlists we want but if they have to go with one please go with no sprint.

i personaly like sprint, it give you more speed, and the Past Halo’s felt too slow at times

I agree with you 100% op. A player gets hit 2 maybe 3 times. Then they run around the corner. Without sprint they would be dead. It doesn’t add a new dynamic to the game at all. It slows kill times if anything. Just make the default movement speed higher. The point of sprint is to speed up gameplay. It doesn’t do that at all. Maybe if you could run and gun it would.
Personally, I think they just need to add ways of moving about the map quicker (such as shortcuts, man cannons, teleporters etc.) as well as bumping up movement speed, effectively reducing any need for sprint.
Sprint is the worst part about Reach for me. Halo doesn’t need it.

We don’t even need anything of that, people just have to learn where to find action.

Sprint increases kill times and it’s mean to speed up the game. Well that is true until you run out of energy in the meter and than you are slower than Shuckle with a choice scarf (still pretty slow).
GTincluded has the right idea. The very idea of Sprint/Evade is rendered useless if players were given faster movement speeds (including greater jump height). Unlike Sprint/Evade, players will maintain fast, consistent speeds without slowing down (I.E running out of energy in the meter for Sprint/Evade).
Yep, I also think the AR is terrible but that doesn’t mean it should be taken out, instead just improved on and revamped so it’s better to use. This can be said for Sprint and to be quite honest any Spartan that doesn’t have a sprint option isn’t that good of a Spartan. Super soldiers should be able to sprint and it IS canon. The only difference is that in the books it was not equipment instead it was a well-honed ability just like evade.
Agree’d, all past Halo’s were fine without sprint but a soon as Bungie added armour ablilites and sprint into Halo it turned -Yoink- (Halo: Reach),sprint is a thing that should stay in CoD. We don’t need sprint in Halo, especially since it takes so long to kill. (I’m not up for an arguement this is just my opinion.

This whole troll calling thing is getting ridiculous. I thought a troll is someone who just wants basically to fool around and get people annoyed. I am stating an opinion. You may not agree but dont hide behind the op is a troll type of response. Also I meant to say halo 4. Typo. My bad.
Not buying Halo 4 just because it has sprint? Look, every game ever created has stuff we don’t like. This stuff can be fixed, but it’s rare for that stuff to be ever changed, let alone removed. I’m sure there won’t be sprint in Halo 4 on a count of how much negative feedback armor abilities got. But it’s kinda stupid to rage that much over at very small thing like that.
i played reach matchmaking before 3’s matchmaking and i love both games multiplayer and dont think sprint affects games at all isnt the point of halo adapt or die? thats pretty much what you need to do every game or your going to lose every game

I see what you mean, but Sprint is not a small thing. It changes gameplay so drastically in a way I do not enjoy.
Let me clarify:
Im not raging at all. I just dont like sprint. and yes it changes the game for me into one that becomes not fun.
adapt? Thats a bad rebuttal. I dont want to adapt. I dont like sprint. it has nothing to do with anything other than i dont like it and dont want to play with it. You guys are finding wrong reasons why I say i dont like it like. you say i dont want to adapt or its me not “evolving.” It has nothing to do with any other than i dont like sprint.
The whole adapt argument needs to go. Otherwise you can say that to all the games out there. I wont adapt to call of duty because i just dont like the game and for really no other reason.

and for me it makes me not want to buy halo 4. That reason alone is enough for me not to want to buy it. Is that wrong? I really dont think so. I express my opinion now so hopefully i will like the final game.
