Played about 45 min so far, I’m happy. But in reference to sprint, does there really seem to be an increase in movement speed? Seems like the sprint is just a different kind of running animation that moves marginally faster (if at all) than just running forward. Has anyone else felt this way? Played halo 3 and 5 before this, 5’s sprint felt significant and 3 (although no sprint) seems to have slower movement than Infinite just running
3 was definitely an overall slower game. And yes the difference doesn’t feel as large as in Halo 5, but it feels snappier. Like you pull your weapon back up quicker, and you can reload while sprinting. If you personally don’t see a benefit, then don’t sprint. It also allows you to slide. Idk. I like it.
It’s more so feedback for the dev’s since they want our take on things, more of an observation that got me thinking. I wonder what others will think
I’ve felt that too. I didn’t mind it in Halo 5, but it feels unnecessary in Infinite, so far.

Something about the playstyle feels so great right now, i’m having an amazing time with the flight.

Gotta have sprint at this point. Without it I feel handicapped, even if the increase in speed is minimal.
I prefer the halo 5 system, this feels a bit clunky.

Right. At the moment, I’d rather have Thrusters back instead.
The sprint needs to be slightly faster, but it definitely does feel more responsive than 5 so far

Im still pressing truster button to change direction mid jump but yea…
I think if sprint has to stay in halo this is about what it should be,a slight enough increase in movement to make it a tactical decision but not to the point that your BMS feels like moving with concrete boots
The fact they have buffed BMS speed makes me incredabily happy.
Now if I sprint its because I choose to, not becuase if I don’t i’m putting myself at a disadvantage
I like it the way it is maps don’t need to be made bigger to accommodate sprint but you can move faster.
Take out sprint and just increase base movement, because sprint feels slower in this game as 343i tried to reach a middle ground. They should really try a playlist out without sprint and clamber and see how it does. I think it would do pretty good considering that everyone is hyped for a more classic geared game. What I mean by that is less power in the player and more into the sandbox and map control.

H5 Mythic settings would be great here is what I kept thinking during my flight time today .

Noooo please.
Remove Sprint and increase the base movement speed by 5%. Other competitive shooters don’t have Sprint it’s not needed and it’s a bad habit
I wouldn’t mind having an always on setting so I can remap change grenade to A. It’s weird having it on the dpad plus I keep accidentally dropping weapons.

Yes, yes, yes. I’ve advocated for H5 Mythic settings for Infinite since I first played them though. Still somewhat disappointed, but this isn’t tooo bad.
Sprint takes up 1 controller input too many in infinite.
First t hving I noticed when trying to make custom controls
Sprint needs to be faster. I absolutely loved H5’s movement, and while this feels better than H3, it’s a slog compared to H5. I’ll eventually get over the loss of my thrusters (maybe), but it’s 2021; sprint should be in the game AND it should matter that it’s there.
