  • you guys have to adapt
  • halo needs to change
  • reach brough sprint and it was the most loved halo
  • it makes gameplay faster and more tactical
  • a supersoldier should be able to sprint
  • if you dont like sprint just dont use it

Hahahaha please kill me

This is a parody, right?

Not sure if bad satire or someone who got sick and tired of the sprint argument and is now angry.

Eh. I just like feeling faster. The only time the supersoldier thing comes into effect is in the campaign and/ or spartan ops, but I think it should just be an option in custom games, to turn it on or off. That way, those who like it have it, those don’t don’t have it. It’s really that simple, and it doesn’t have to be this all or nothing attitude that people have.

If you really cannot tell this is satire, you obviously don’t internet enough.

I posted what is practically a meme, knowing full well that this thread is nothing more than the former. If I explained the joke behind the meme, it wouldn’t be funny anymore. Actually, scratch that, it’s not funny either way. I’ll shut up now. :v

Why not both?

“Reach was the most loved Halo” was pretty much the most obvious giveaway ever. People here really are easy to troll.

About Halo needing to change: Halo changed in 2 and 3, but it didn’t change the core formula.

Reach was the most hated Halo after 4

It does NOT make gameplay more tactical. Think about it. What’s the difference between sprinting after someone who is trying to run away or walking toward him (343i should increase walking speed, btw)? You won’t get any closer to him if you’re both sprinting. And don’t tell me about traversing the map faster. Sprint causes maps to be stretched out, and they’d be smaller and better designed without Sprint. Sprint also slows down gameplay, as you can’t shoot somebody when you’re sprinting at them.

A supersoldier has fast walking speed, and technically, sprinting is a short burst of speed for a limited time (by definition), and since it’s unlimited in Halo 5, it’s not even “sprinting.”

I will now have to use Sprint, as I HAVE to in order to keep pace with everybody else who uses it.

Finally, the Thruster Pack accomplishes the function of Sprint (a short burst of pace to surprise someone).

Your arguments are invalid.

why not make it more realistic in that if you’re heavily damaged you actually slow down. that would fix this nonsense

i like sprint. the no recover is a good compromise but people can still run away and their enemies get shot down or lose track, but if it was more difficult to run away when your low on health then that solves a big problem

Fwoosh

most likely because he went ahead and listed the all for sprint arguments and didn’t bother explaining why it belongs in halo, which is what I find most pro-sprint people doing. There’s always a huge argument against and there’s a few people that are like, “well it makes the game seem faster paced so that’s okay…” Or, “every game has sprint that’s why!”
