sprint indicator

Why is there no spring indicator? Am i supposed to guess when I am about to run out of sprint? or when it’s back?

If someone has already addressed this, I apologize. Thanks.

Yep, you’ll have to guess. You’ll insitnctively learn the pattern for it after a couple of plays.

There is also an armour mod that gives you infinite sprint.

We really don’t need our hands held with a sprint indicator.

I too have been looking for this in the HUD in the videos I’ve seen. I have not seen any indicator yet.

Get the mobility perk. This way, you’ll never run out of sprint.

I haven’t noticed an indicator either. I don’t really mind, and I’m sure we’ll all get the hang of the length of sprint. I don’t think they wanted to clutter the HUD any more than it already is.

This is not cool. knowing the exact second you can start sprinting again really makes a difference. knowing right when sprint will end to know if i have to turn around and shoot or if I can keep going. It is ALWAYS better to know for sure. How hard would it be to put a small indicator somewhere that doesn’t look cluttered?

Yes, I know about the mobility perk. The other ones look like they could be more useful. i shouldn’t have to get this just because they won’t put an indicator

It doesn’t make sense to me. They have a meter for the banshee and ghost boosts, and turret overheating meter, yet they never put in a meter for sprint. Seems rather strange.

Umm the enitre HUD is cluttered. Like someone above me said. After the first few days you will get the hang of it. Might as well have an indicator telling me how long my reload is going to take… Jeez come on we dont need an indicator for everything

YOU HAVE THE FLAG!

Oh really?

I really think it’s a HUD clutter issue. When you enter a vehicle, your HUD clears up a bit, so there’s more room for the boost meter. I assume they figured people would figure out the sprint speed on their own without the need for a meter.

Ok so I have an idea, get rid of the useless ones and put in the sprint one. I don’t get it…what if I’m a half second early hitting the sprint button? now i took my thumb off of the joystick, or off of a more useful button unnecessarily. It was in reach, why are we taking steps backwards?

Yes that is going to happen a lot the first few days, but eventually you will internalize it and be able to do it on the fly. As for clutter, if they removed anything i wouldent want to add more usless indicators. I like a clean simple HUD. COD dosent have an indicator, you just learn it. Same thing.

I guess…I just suppose I’ve always been a fan of receiving any knowledge that can help me in a more “exact” way. I’m sure when the game first comes out, there will be people complaining.

Almost all games that have a limited sprint don’t have an indicator. It really isn’t that hard to get used to.
