I’ve seen Halo 4’s list of button layout, and my favorable one was a “Recon” since its similarity of Halo 3’s. But I noticed that recon’s sprint button is X button. That occurred to me, “Then how can I change the direction while sprinting?”
Is it possible to change direction with left thumbstick while sprinting? Because that would be really necessary for the players like me who favor recon.
I think it’s the same with Bumper Jumper. It’s not uncommon for people to use their index finger to push the face buttons, and that’s what I do. It feels strange at first but doesn’t take long to get used to.

Well recon is really made for southpaw thumbstick layout. Thats how I play. It is a little strange at first but is the best layout in the game. You move with the right thumbstick so you just claw the x button while moving. While sprinting you can’t strafe or move in any other direction except straight.

The Razer Onza helps remove that problem by adding two extra bumpers that can be programmed to your face buttons at a button press.
On Reach my LT: Grenade, L1: Armor ability, L2: Jump
RT: Shoot, R1: Reload, R2: Melee

> Uhhh thats wrong,Recon sprint is the left stick.
Exactly what I was thinking when I saw the new Recon scheme. I’m a long time user of the Recon control scheme, it seems like i’m going to have to finally change it up. Pfft long live the days of custom control schemes.
You don’t need to hold the button, so what is the problem?
I just recently switched to Bumper Jumper after always using default, because Halo 4’s default has crouch on B and Sprint on the left thumbstick which is really annoying. But anyway, I don’t have any problem sprinting with X, you just tap it once, no problem.
