sprint haters like easy targets

I just don’t understand why people think using sprint is a bad thing. Most common excuse is bad players will be able to get away easier. Last I checked red and blue have sprint, you could, ya know, chase them. People do retreat in battle.

When both players have sprint it is equal advantage.

inb4 “I can’t shoot while sprinting after them!!1!!”

People that dislike sprint in Halo are old school players. I’m glad MCC was created to cater to those players. The rest of us will move forward with the franchise as it attempts to remain a relevant series in the genre.

Yea, I dont mean to bash sprint haters, just the ones who think sprint is unfair defensively. I am an old school halo player, what has always made halo multiplayer great is the balance, no matter what changes.

You’ll have to ask them why that’s such an issue. I like Halo 5’s version of sprint. 343 got it right this time around.

Their shields stay down while sprinting so just shoot them as they run away.

While I can see your initial point, lets be realistic the figure 8 dancers who move like dancers with Tourette’s and nervous twitches should be penalized with their stamina running down just like sprint. And do not even get me started on bunny hoppers.

Water is wet OP

You just opened a can of centipedes and I’d get a flame suit out if I were you lol

I don’t think it is that bad in an actual way. If the changes they made, they will not be able to gain their shields back until they stop and walk. If you are able to chase after them, you will still have an advantage

Ya mean fire centipedes, right mate?

I love sprint, makes the game feel fresh and relevant. Bring on the sprinters!

I enjoyed no sprint, but I’m loving sprint. It gives you extra options, a way to retreat and if you want you can shoot someone as they sprint away or chase them. Loads of pros, no cons.

You encourage chasing… when your own shields don’t recharge?

You WANT to shoot in a chase so the opponent doesn’t drag out the fight and get extra help… not because you harbor some sort of deep resentment for Sprint.

Really setting yourself up for disappointment using the mechanic to pursue people…

Sprint was something added to the game to keep it in competition with other games with a sprint action. Going from a game with sprint to a game without one can be very annoying and transitioning can take a while for new players. Sprint also gives the game a whole new level of competition that was not originally there in Halo 1-3. It makes it a lot harder for you to get an easy kill on some people even though there are going to be those who suck at the game. Sprint as I said was necessary for the evolution of the game and it was inevitably going to be added at some point better sooner than later so as to not lose any of the fan base who play more than just Halo. The addition of sprint also shows advances in there technology.

I can’t wait for halo 5 just because of having to only focus on one halo game and play style, not five different games in Halo mcc. It dose get weird when one game you have sprint and then you don’t.

I like sprint and yeah it dose make players a bit harder to kill, that’s why there is a medal for it. I welcome the change and challenge. On a side note, wasn’t halo 2 supposed to have sprint, but then it was cut from the game?

In the beta, the enenmy stopped sprinting when they were shot as well. So if you can actually hit them, then sprinting away isn’t a problem.

People who say “sprint is just an easy getaway” just can’t shoot straight lol.

Lol I hate bunny hoppers!

I don’t see anything wrong with Sprint and the non-sprinters can’t report me for killing them because they’re not sprinting so I just kill them.

“When both players have armor lock, it’s an equal advantage”

Yes, BUT IT DOESN’T MAKE FOR GOOD GAMEPLAY. Same thing applies to sprint. I could sit here and write an essay on the negative effects of sprint, but trying to say anything against what Halo 5 is doing on here is like talking to a brick wall. A brick wall that surrounds 343 no matter how bad their decisions are.
